I prefer to do things the Dom-way. But if you are into the Sub-way then this review is for you. I have lots of friends in Rochester, and some of them are on Unilocal and so they have impeccable taste in food. However my «music business» friends and my old friends are, shall we say, less up-to-speed in the ways of delicious cheap food. A lot of them, embarrassingly, still eat chains and crap. Well, chains usually are crap, so you know what I mean. I think I just don’t like Subway in general. I can’t stand their new commercials, trying to play on the fact that they started as a local family business. That was many decades ago, dudes, and now you’re a massive MNC and there’s nothing family, local, or really even fresh about you. Lots of actual local people to spend your money on, where the food tastes better — and better for you — except they can’t afford the advertising that Subway can. Anyway, I think their sandwiches are awful. I shared the Chicken Teriyaki with Peter(keyboard player) and he assured me it was the best sandwich within a few miles of his house. I didn’t even finish it… it’s just crap, to be honest. I think this every time I come to a Subway, and yet so many of my friends swear by Subway as if it were a religion. The only reason this location scores a 2 instead of a 1 is that the employees are really friendly, more so than expected from a Subway.
