Balsam Bagels(delish), great coffee, fresh fruit and food. Makes it worth popping into the Crossroads building. Fast and friendly service. I’m officially over Dunkin D.

I am a fan of this café mostly because I work in the Crossroads Building so it is super easy to quickly take the elevator down for a snack and back up to my desk in under 5 minutes. This café overs a variety of different coffees, lattes, teas and sodas to drink. They also offer a ton of snacks including muffins, bagels, fruit, chips, soups, and sometimes sandwiches. Most of the baked goods come from Balsam Bagels so they are good, but the problem is they get delivered the night before so sometimes they aren’t the freshest. The soups are Nathan’s and they change everyday. There is a board to the top left that has the daily soup on it. I think we all know how great Nathan’s soups are, so you always get sometimes good. The soups also come with a croissant. The only real problem with this café is the price. I think it is very expensive and if I have time I would walk elsewhere for a snack so I could get it cheaper but there really are no other options for coffee in the area so they are great for that. Also, if you work in the Crossroads Building ask for a discount but be prepared to let them know where you work.

Great little place. Super friendly owners! Lovely loose leaf teas and a pretty good variety of drinks & food given their size. Located in an office building lobby so they don’t have much space for seating otherwise I’d be over there all the time doing work when I want to get out of my office.

Formerly known as the Crossroads Café, this super cute joint is a much needed coffee spot in Center City. They make a variety of café favorites — White Mocha Latte being yours truly’s. Today I ordered the Peanut Butter Mocha Frappé with skim milk, and it was half-way-gone-HALF-way back to work. Rich in a good way and not sickly rich like a reese’s buttercup. In the past I’ve had both the fore mentioned white mocha and pumpkin spice lattes which were very comforting as well. Apart from whole leaf organic teas and delicious made to order sippers, they also have a decent variety of baked goods like scones, muffins and kuchens. Some salads range from simple greens to strawberry chicken! They have daily soups provided by Nathan’s so make sure to read the specials on the chalk board!

The Daily Grind has taken over the little coffee stand in the Crossroads building at Four Corners. The kiosk offers coffee drinks, tea and a limited variety of food, including yogurt parfaits and bagels from Balsam Bagels. It features a convenient location with fast and friendly service.
