Wow, so never have I been so blatantly ripped off. I was charged a ridiculous tip amount by one of your«bartenders»(if you can even call them that) after cashing out and leaving your«bar»(if you can even call it that). The fact that you would steal from a patron is extremely offensive.

This place is small but gets very good bands to come here. The bar is just ok with a decent selection of mixed drinks and typical american beers. Because of the size you almost always have an excellent view of the bands.

I’m torn on this place. The stage set up, lighting, and sound system are top notch. There are few places I can see a great lineup sound great and feel like I have the best view in the house no matter where I am. So a fair amount of pros! Cons: –Generally kind of a sketchy looking place with not great parking –Average-high prices(about 12 – 15 bucks entry) –A Coors Light bottle runs you $ 4 –Shows start very late(the shows I’ve seen have started around 11pm if not later), making it quite difficult to get up for work/school at 6-something the next morning

Great staff, affordable beverages, and a nice, cozy little joint overall. This is the *perfect* place to enjoy smaller, lesser known bands. With craptacular winter weather threatening the concert(Ghostfeeder), I emailed the venue, and they actually emailed me back! And did so in a timely manner: something almost unheard of in my experience with businesses. And as a bonus, the men’s bathroom was remarkably clean!

Staff is all full of genuinely kind hearted people and the venue is remodeled theater. The venue itself is built where the orchestra pit would perform in and it’s just awesome. Got to catch This or the Apocalypse play a set FROMONSTAGE. How cool is that!

Grab yourself a PBR for $ 3 and rock out. The majority of my visits usually involved my standing to the right of the stage watching my boyfriend sit in on a few songs with The Isotopes. I love them! I don’t love Montage that much. Perhaps because I feel slightly out of place there. Maybe it’s all the color in my wardrobe? Shall I strategically wear my leather jacket when I come here to better fit in? Yes, that’s what I do. Despite all that, I like the stage setup. A barricade sets the band apart from the crowd, the drummer is lifted up on a higher section so you can actually see him and there’s a nice lighting rig. Yes, it’s a music venue so its loud, everywhere you go. I know times have changed since the old days, but I wasn’t around then so I can’t judge. But I guess you can find comfort in the fact that it’s dark, dingy, and loud, and beers are cheap.

This is not the Montage Grille anymore first off. LOL. This is the Montage Music Hall! This place is a Fun«Dive» bar that has Music on most Nights and they cater to mostly the Heavier Stuff from Hard Rock, Heavy Metal, Nu-Metal, Hard Core, Punk, Death Metal, Etc etc etc. You get the idea. They Bring in National Acts and also strongly support the Local Bands. So if you are in the mood for Loud Music, Cheap Beer and a good time, this is the place to go.
