Lots of staff standing around at 9:30 Saturday night but only 2 doing anything. They were out of two flavors I wanted so I chose something else. Then miraculously the two flavors appeared after I was served. Hot fudge topping was lumpy and gross. No pricing posted, no menu telling people what was available — like milkshakes but I guess you have to be a «local» to get what you want.

Cool old fashioned ice cream shop! The small milkshake was really big so definitely worth the money! Got cookies and cream(so good!) and ate the whole thing. Nice amount of seating and fun to walk around and check out the home decorations that they sell.

Step back in time and remember what it was like to press your nose up against the frosty window of the ice cream counter and labor over which flavor you’re going to choose. Or walk along the wood floors and pick out your allowance of candy from barrels. It’s a down home, feel good experience and it’s a must do for anyone with kids or those of us who are kids in big people’s bodies.

Durdings is the ice cream spot of Rock Hall. Old fashioned yummy-ness. The cones are huge and perfect on a summer day(or when the weather isn’t quite warm enough and you want to pretend it’s summertime.) The benches out front fill up quick. Get a cone and stroll around Oyster Court(across the street.) You will not regret it.
