When you are from Atlanta, and you are visiting friends in SC and they start to panic about 6:40 pm because ALL the liquor stores close at 7pm, you think to yourself, damn, did I step into a time warp? However, in SC, if you want hard liquor after 7pm, you better remember it before the liquor stores close.
I was in town visiting friends, and needed to complete an online survey and post a picture for Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka, so as we made it to the store with about 5 minutes to spare before they closed for the evening, I was quite pleased when the store clerk directed me to the item.
They were also do a tasting of Seagrams gin, which I haven’t drunk since I was in my early twenties, but like most spirits they are venturing into flavored varieties, and we had a chance to try the peach version. Since I know what the Seagram’s gin does to me the next morning, I took my complimentary shot and wristband and thanked the vendor girl.
Prices are slightly cheaper than what I get here in Atlanta, but not enough to brag about.
Sits in a shopping center with a Bi-​Lo grocery store and a Papa Johns and several other stores.
