Chicken Shak

Love this place best buffalo chicken sandwich around. The only con to this place is that it’s to small. I believe they have the most to go orders I’ve ever seen.

Ok so I’ve been here once before and got the fried oysters with a sweet tea. It was AMAZING the breaking on the oysters were just perfect. However I decided to go back and try wings from the menu first off the guy refused to let me pay extra to get an extra sauce he’d rather me go somewhere else than just give me an up charge that I was more than willing to pay. I decided to go ahead and continue with my order instead of ordering a 15 piece with 1 sauce I ordered 3 separate 5 piece wings and got 3 sauces which made it 3 dollars more. The wings were NOT GOOD well the smokin hot ones were but the hot honey sucks and has NO FLAVOR the garlic Parmesan was just ok. I just know now to only stick with oysters from here that’s why they got 3 stars.

Wings are the best we’ve had in town! Crispy and yummy. Sauce flavors aren’t original, same as everywhere else. But they do wings right! We’ll be back. Small and homey, perfect little hole in the wall bar. The staff is hilarious and one of the cooks sounds like Doakes from Dexter

My husband ordered wings for carry out and we were told they would be ready in 20 – 25 minutes. 35 minutes later the food was finally ready. While waiting for the food to be ready, 2 different people dining in sent their food back to the kitchen due to it being overcooked. When I got the wings home, they only gave us 10, but we ordered and paid for 15 wings. We tried calling for 20 minutes when we got home and could not get through to them. Very poor experience and we do not intend on taking our business there again.

This is just a little hole in the wall place. The wings are great! The chicken is a great quality. The ranch was really good. They seem to have great specials. Shelly H was our waitress she was awesome.

Good wings, but not cheap by any means. At cost, the quality is where I’d expect it be. So, was satisfied but not blown away. I’d return for wings again if I’m really craving them.

The best place you didn’t know existed. This is my favorite place to get chicken ever. Just a small little bar with lots of options. A great place to watch the game or grab some dinner to go. Nice staff and affordable prices. I drive over 30 mins to eat here since I moved away from the area and it is totally worth it.

I hate to give it 5 stars because more people will go and I won’t have a seat. BWW is vending machine food compared to this. The wings are mouth watering, double battered onion rings oh my. I just had it last night and want to go back for lunch which says something. Oh, Busch Light Draft was a whole dollar. Tell me you can tell the taste the difference between a Bud Light and Busch and I will call you a liar. This is a great wing place that is off the beaten path. It is busy for good reason. Wooooooo!

Went here for some Sunday Funday football action recently. The exterior doesn’t look like much, and from what I gather, it used to be a Wing King. The interior is pretty open, which lends itself to easy viewing of the different games on different screens. The service was good and our server came back often to check if we needed refills.
I got a turkey burger and fries, which were both good… though they did forget my onions on the burger and pickle spear on the side. Speaking of pickles, we got an order of fried pickles as an appetizer and they were some of the best fried pickle chips I’ve had, and certainly the best I’ve had in Rock Hill. Bonus points for having a horseradish sauce to dip them in instead of just ranch or honey mustard. My wife got lemon pepper wings, which were very flavorful, but a little on the dry side.
Overall was pleased with food, service, and prices. The only really negative thing I can say is this is a Steelers bar (boo!). Good place to catch a game.

The Chicken Shak is simply awesome. I travel to Rock Hill a few times a year and this is always the first and last place that I eat. I can’t get enough! I usually get the buffalo chicken sandwich, and the only bad part of the sandwich is that you’ll never find a sandwich that good anywhere else! I’ve also had wings and burgers that are equally as good, but chicken is in the name so you have to try the chicken!
