Dutch’s Tavern

Not much to look at but this place has everything you need for good strong drinks and late night munchies. The staff was friends, fast and funny. We went on a Saturday night after a show in Bethel. The place was filled with locals who seemed like a happy fun loving crowd.
The best thing about Dutch’s in the late night menu. IMO They offer the best Fried egg, with bacon and cheese you’ve ever wanted at 10:00 o’clock at night. Its served on brioches bun
with lots of bacon and butter. it hits the spot like no other. If eggs aren’t your thing, have the sweet and hot wings. they hit the spot too. I don’t know who Dutch is but he has a hellva good bar.

I’ve been living in this area for almost two years. So on a whim in a Monday night, my sister-​in-​law decided to go out and try this place out. Staff is friendly. Enjoyed the live music. Very nice atmosphere. Enjoyed the delicious fish and chips.

If I could give less than one star that would be ideal. If you want to get screamed and cursed at by a bartender for not ordering a drink right away you should come to Dutch’s. If you want to see puke all over the floor come to Dutch’s. If you want to be belittled by staff then definitely come to Dutch’s. If you want quality service and a good time, avoid Dutch’s at all costs. To the bartender who cursed me out I hope you find peace someday but I know it won’t be in this dark little tavern.

Last few times I have been there in afternoon or early evening food hasn’t been good. I have been there later at night and food was much better. Example: order chicken wings and ask for extra crispy and what comes out is a not crispy barely warm old chicken wing! Seems like the cook is making a batch early and reheating later as orders come in. Not a good move. Food should be hot and fresh. Hence the 2 stars. Otherwise a nice bar atmosphere

This is the place where everyone knows your name. Unless, you are from out of town. In which case everyone turns around and looks at you as you enter. It doesn’t matter though. Patrons and servers alike are very friendly. The sandwiches are great. This is my favorite stop in Rock Hill.

Food is OK. Drinks are OK. The waitress are friendly. But when you try to order at the bar late at night its not worth the trouble!!!
The bartenders need some work. They only serve people they know (Or men) Whenever I try to get their attention they walk right past me. But as soon as my husband tries to get a drink they serve him almost immediately. It took me 15minutes of waving at them at the bar trying to pay my bill. They never stopped. My husband got the check and paid in under 5minutes. It has nothing to do with being busy. We’ve been here on many, many occasions. Packed, empty, day, night. Always the same thing. Ordering at the bar leads to bad service!!!

We had a great night here during our visit. Lots of friendly people to meet and talk to, a busy pool table and darts, and Friday night is karaōke night. We happened to be there when there were a couple of extremely talented singers taking part, and all round had a really fun night. I’d come back for sure.

We always pass by and say that we should try their food so after two years we finally did. Boy was I disappointed. Their special of the day was fish and while we did not order fish everything tasted like fish. The fries, my chicken sandwich, and the double burger! They must be using the same fryer for everything or keeping their food next to a lot of fish. We went on our lunch break so I don’t know if the food is better at night or if you have to be really drunk so that the food tastes better.

Obviously the owners have settled their differences and gotten new staff. Much friendlier and competent staff. Food is much better and it is worth while to go again. I like having lunch here, it is convenient and a nice atmosphere.

Awesome bar at night. Steak sandwitch with jack daniels sauce is out of this world. Friendly bartenders and owner.

Too much hype for just an ok experience. Buffalo Wings were dry and not very flavorful.
Not the best burgers, or BBQ pork, but weren’t entirely bad either. Buns were good and fries were average, nothing special. Onion rings were good. Pulled pork was loaded with grease. For the prices charged the food should’ve stood out more.
Service was lacking and not friendly. we weren’t checked on once, if we needed anything etc. We had to go looking around for sauces ourselves. Perhaps the focus here is more on the drinkers. May try it again but in no rush.

This bar has very limited vegetarian options, as in 2 total although overall they have a large menu that they have recently upgraded. I’ve had mostly salads and mozz sticks from here and they were mediocre, would love to see a few veg options !

Given that I’m from the city I wasn’t expecting much from Dutch’s or any bar/​restaurant in the area, but I was pleasantly surprised. Their food is amazing, especially the wings. OMG! I dream about their wings on a constant basis, anytime I’m in the area I make sure I get my dose of Dutch’s wings. They have a full bar and the service is always on point, they have multiple t. v’s, a pool table, music, and karaōke on certain nights. Go! Eat! Drink!

Stopped in one day as I was in the neighbourhood. Not a lot of choices in town. Food was very good, waitress was very helpful, friendly and attentive. This is mostly billed as a sports bar, but they have live music at times as well. The inside isn’t anything to write home about, but it was clean. Food was served quickly. I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap with ½ order of fries and ½ order of onion rings. Both were great. The wrap was very good, and plentiful. My friend ordered the special, which was a BBQ chicken flat bread pizza with melted cheddar and a side of fries. It was also very good, and plentiful. She has to take ½ of it home (even after I tried to help her out!) we ordered the unsweetened iced tea… that’s the only thing we could have passed on… it was too strong in flavor almost like it was over-brewed…but other than that, everything else was excellent.

We are locals to the area. I grew up far from here and absolutely did not expect from this place what we actually got. The staff is outstanding, every time were there everyone is friendly. Food is fabulous, they keep the fryers on basically all night long. Only place in the area where you can get food up until 3/3:30 am! We call and order wings to bring home after work some nights. We love it here and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place to go out, they have pool, darts, live bands. Great places to watch football or just go for a relaxing comfortable dinner.

I went up to visit a buddy in Rock Hill, NY. It was really far from where i’m from (NYC) — so we were looking for some food and beer and to hang out. My buddy was telling me it’s the best place in the area for Wings and the beer isn’t too bad either.
So we went, sat down, and immediately a girl comes over with cake offering it to us saying that she made her friends buy an ice cream cake for her going away party, but there is more cake than people and didn’t want it to go to waste. Da Heck! Umm… I’m not used to friendly people that aren’t the waitstaff of a restaurant, so thus I was reluctant to take it, but before i could refuse — my buddy goes «THANK YOU!» takes the cake and start eating, grinning, and being pretty happy with his choice. Laughing i accepted as well — and it wasn’t bad ice cream cake either.
We ordered 2 sets of wings and beers. Beers came first but ice cream and beer doesn’t always go together (at least not in my opinion). Within 15 minutes the wings came by. Piping hot and smothered in sauce. I had the atomic wings, because i like to punish myself i guess and my buddy had something sweet and spicy. Both sets of wings were delicious. Perfectly fried then smothered so the wings were cripsy and had lots of sauce.
I was dying (b/​c atomic was actually really hot) and finished most of my wings. We had a good time — a few more beers and took off for home. Overall it was an enjoyable night. Not much in the way of décor as it’s a bar — but it’s friendly in there.

This is a local bar, and the locals hang there. Food is more or less not edible, but the drinks are honest. TVs everywhere, this is not a quiet place. The politics are hard core redneck, and that can get a little irritating sometimes.

I’ve enjoyed going to Dutch’s for many years. It’s a great place to hang out, and there’s some good stuff on their menu. In particular their wings and ribs are great.

I disagree with the other reviews. The food is good, the drinks are cheap and the company is tops! Friday night has live music. Football on Sundays where Bills and Jets fans battle it out. Darts and $ 5 wings… what more do you want? A great local hangout spot.
In often have the black bean burger which is even better when paired with sweet potato fries. Last time here I had some fresh soup and a generous potion of muscles. Many rave about their wings.

I’ve never been impressed with the food there. Barely any flavor, food is either burned or cold, the only thing good here is the arcade game.
