The people that work their are very helpful and nice. Overall an awesome rc shop!

Stopped into Hobby Stop, while shopping chess sets.
Hobby Stop doesn’t carry chess sets (although they carry a large varied selection of model trains and accessories; rockets; planes; car and truck models).
What really got me was the owner: although he had nothing to sell me, he spent several minutes kindly and patiently telling me of competitors in the Charlotte area, that might have what I was looking for!
That’s the type of customer service that’s sadly missing from larger chain stores, although H.S.‘s prices are no different than high volume retailers.
Today’s experience made me a customer for life!
