when i said «can i get a number five» the dude behind the counter said «nah» and all the employees laughed and laughed. one of them said «yo did you really just snub that guy?» and he said «hahaha yeah bro, he aint getting no sandwich. i didn’t think it was very funny. hunger isn’t a game. when i finally got my sandwich, it didnt have any lettuce on it.

I was so excited to get Jimmy Johns in town! Super clean and great food. I go there at least once a week.
I never have a problem ordering my regular (which is always condiment free and tomato free).
They deliver which is great for close locals (Winthrop and City Hall).
Always fresh and tasty! (:

Not a JJ’s regular? Staff at Jimmy John’s on Main Street get surly with customers quickly if you do not KNOW your way around the JJ’s menu.
Oh, and DO NOT ASK too many questions!!!
How many are too many? Apparently TWO may be ONE too many! The counter guy will begin to get snarly if you want to deviate from the sandwich contents listed by THE NUMBERED selection… order by the NUMBER if you want him to be happy, not by what you want in YOUR sandwich that would make you happy. A deletion or substitution is unappreciated.
You may have your sandwich on a regular white hoagie roll, or on square (sandwich style) whole wheat sliced bread.
And NO, you may NOT have it heated. Not a JJ’s option!
If you want YOUR SANDWICH with contents of YOUR CHOICE… on your choice of white or wheat hoagie… and heated, YOU WILL fare better going somewhere else.
Plus. JJ’s is just a little pricey for what you get. Can you believe there is now a second location open in the shopping center at Herlong and Ebenezer? Wonder if they are more tolerant and address issues other reviews mention… nearly raw bacon and browning lettuce?

As over the moon as I am for the JJs in Orlando, FL and Chantilly, Va is as disappointed as I am in the JJs in Rock Hill, SC. Only one employee so much as smiled at me, my husband and son, the bacon in my son’s jjblt unwich was practically raw, and the lettuce enveloping my beach club unwich was browning in spots and wilty. What was once my favorite lunch stop is now a place to which I hesitate to return.

Great sandwich, even better pickles! Pretty darn good, especially for a sandwich chain.
