We visited this place on Saturday afternoon. The smells alone made the trip worthwhile. We ordered the fish plate. It was very good. The place was only somewhat busy. The service was just right. Even though it was warm, we were able to sit outside in the shade which was nice. We will visit again.

While driving back to Charlotte we came across this restaurant. The food, beers, and environment were amazing. It’s 30 minutes from our home but we will definitely be back in the near future.

Absolutely love this spot! It isn’t a long drive away from where I live, so it’s perfect! Their beer is great, and their food is even better, too! They also do a good job about rotating different beers on tap. The icing on the cake for me, is the environment. Great outdoor space(great any time of the year) with plenty of room and activities — I’ve even seen a bunch of kids there, that have their own space to run around and play. If it’s just a bit too hot(or if an afternoon thunderstorm rolls through), the indoor space is very nice, as well. Love taking friends that visit from out of town, as well as spend a nice afternoon /evening with locals. Highly recommend this spot.

Food was very tasty. Highly recommend any meal with pulled pork. This establishment is a favorite of my moms and she always takes me here when I come visit. Staff is very friendly and a wonderful atmosphere make this place perfect to enjoy some cold delicious brews on a hot summer day. The bacon maple stout was incredible as always.

Pretty good spot for the area. Beers were good and food is prob the best around Rock Hill, which doesn’t have much.

Worth the drive! Huge selection and more than your average bar food. Call me a girl but I love a good cheese/charcutarie plate with my craft beer. Hands down the strawberry vanilla saison was my favorite. Start with the flight and segway into your favorite brew. Place was packed by 5:00 on a Friday so get there early. We came on a rainy day so would love to be come back when there is better weather to hangout on their patio.

Went here for lunch on a weekday because I had been wanting to check it for a while. Really cool outdoor space which has several picnic style tables and several fire pits. I’m sure this place would be really cool in the evenings. The food was good but I wish they had a lunch menu that was a tad cheaper.

Amazing. I had the pulled pork sandwich, one of if not the best ever. Order the fries for an extra $ 1, they aren’t your normal everyday fries. My lunch mate had the chicken sandwich which he claims to be the best in the Charlotte region. The key to its success — the bacon. As for the beer, the plaintiff pale ale is probably my favorite but all are delicious.

What vbgb should be! This place is fantastic the beer is amazing, the food is amazing and great service. This will be one of my new hangouts as I just can’t fault it and they are dog friendly and by dog friendly they have specific treats for dogs free of charge, that’s going the extra mile and making a dog owner feel welcome.

Living in Portland I find myself trying to perch into an ivory tower when it comes to micro breweries. I have to say I came down from there after a trip to Legal Remedy. They have a wide array of beers, some good, some meh. However, the names of the usual suspect beers(aka the beers they’re known for) is enough to bring me back during my next work trip. The food here is also really well done. I did have the steak salad but the rest of be table loaded up on the meat and bread and deliciousness they had to offer. Overall I’m giving this place a solid 4 Stars. The staff was also extremely friendly which only made it that much more enjoyable.

Loved this experience! I got the pork schnitzel sandwich and my husband got the pulled pork sandwich and both were amazing! It was very busy today but service and food were both A+! The pork schnitzel was huge! Definitely coming back!

The way to my heart is through my dog’s stomach. Among many of the things that impressed me about this place was how dog friendly they are. They have water buckets for the hounds and a sever brought my dog a crisp bacon treat. The food for the humans was also delicious. We got the meats sample platter and the poutine fries. The sample platter came with the most beautiful piece of bacon I have ever since. Thick cut and much more meaty than fatty. The jellies and mustard on the side were all amazing. The poutine fries had some of the medium spicy jelly lace through the sauce which gave the fries a moderate kick. The beer list was extensive and between the two of us we sampled most of it. My favorite came as a surprise — the jalapeño pineapple ale. I didn’t detect much pineapple but the jalapeño added a great subtle heat. The servers and other patrons were all very friendly. The legal theme was represented throughout the menu and bar giving it an edge over other breweries. We can’t wait to go back and try more of their menu.

My wife and I hadn’t been back to Legal Remedy for several months, so after a nice long drive from the Spartanburg area we decided to pop-in. It was Good Friday evening and by the time we arrived there was hardly a parking stall for several blocks. When we did finally fine a spot to drop the car we ventured inside only to discover that both outside and inside seating was non-existent and every chair in the bar area was taken. Even so, we decided to wait. Fortunately, It didn’t take long to find a spot. We hunkered down at the seating that lines the outside wall and includes chairs on either side: some inside and some outside. That turned out to be a good choice. It was a bit chilly outside but the heat from the fire pits, as well as the crowd, made it just right. The waitstaff was surprisingly attentive: even with the heavy crowd. We hadn’t been seated for a minute before our server Casey had menus in front of us and was taking our first beer order. She wasn’t gone all that long and returned with our beers and waited for our food order. The menu is exceptional when compared to other breweries. Legal Remedy is one of the few Breweries that a person can visit just to eat and not even sample a beer. They have Pork Schnitzel, coleslaw, bratwurst, fish-n-chips, salads, and even fried moon pies. We opted to hold off on the food until our next visit but enjoyed considering the options all the same. Our goal for the evening was to try out some of their beers which are decent. We tried the Executioner Imperial Pumpkin Stout Nitro. It’s a 10% ABV with 42 IBUs. Not much of an aftertaste which was a pleasant surprise. The pumpkin taste is extremely subtle. Also tried their Pro Bono Porter. It’s an Imperial Porter with 9% ABV and 37 IBUs. Decent beer that is worth your consideration if you like heavier beers. What I really love about this place is how it opens up so you can enjoy both the inside and outside at the same time. When it warms up a bit more I look forward to sitting in their patio area where they have fans and picnic style seating. Another great bonus is their WIFI. It is very strong: And considering this place was founded by lawyers the disclaimer for access is short and has no hidden Herod clauses. I give this place Five Stars for Atmosphere; Five Stars for Price(We had four higher ABV brews for $ 20); And Five for Service(Casey was great). As far as the taste of the beers, I am going to give them Three Stars. I’ll update my review for food when I return. Good Job.

THEYWILLFILLMYGROWLER. They are the only place in the Charlotte Area that will fill my 72 oz growler. They have great beer, some are a little weird, but that’s what makes a great brewery. They make seasonal beers as well. The food is actually GOOD! Its have to have good beer and good food at the same place when you are making both of them. The out door seating, under the solar panels, is nice and spacious. The service is top notch and there is hardly ever a wait, even when they are busy and even with my group of friends. Wish this place was here when I went to Winthrop University down the road. Rock Hill has needed a place like this for a while now.

Let’s run through the checklist for Legal Remedy: — Delicious tasty beer? [Check] — Nachos so good that it might change your religion? [Check] — Yummy mashed potatoes that are approved by our 11 month old? [Check] — Giant patio; perfect for dining outdoors? [Check] Bottom line, my wife and I SHALLBEBACK, because the food is great, the beer is crafty/tasty, and you get good vibes just being here. This place rocks!

Great beer and selection. Great food. Great environment. What more could you ask for? If you’re ever in the area, or even if you have to drive a little ways, be sure to check out LRB. You won’t be disappointed! Favorite beers: Double IPA and Watermelon Wheat Favorite dish: Smokehouse Meatloaf

Finding good craft beer in Rock Hill isn’t easy, however, Legal Remedy’s relatively new brewery is a great location. They did a great job with the atmosphere, turning what I believe was an old service station into a brewery destination spot. The outside area is very nice, with some games to play and lots of seating. The inside has high top, low top tables, and a bar area. They serve a nice variety of food. Most importantly, they serve some very good beer. I like the«Legal» theme and all the beers are named with some variation on that theme. One of the coolest things I’ve seen at a brewery happened here. You can order a flight of every beer on tap, and I think it was like 25 beers. My wife posted a picture of this in Unilocal.I didn’t order it personally, but it was pretty cool to see the bar tender carry out a board, with 25 beers on it! I probably couldn’t drink that many before it went warm, but its a cool idea of you have a group of several people. They staff here was very friendly, answering questions about the beer, and just being generally nice people. The crowd can be heavy here. I went on a Friday night and they said the wait for a table could be 45 minutes. With beer at the bar, that’s not too long. We grabbed a few beers, stood around the bar and talked and our table was ready in about 30 minutes. They have several very good beers here. I usually don’t drink a Stout, but they had a «Motion to Strike Milk Stout», that I thought was very good. They have a «Double Indemnity IPA» that is also very good. My wife really liked the«Sequestered Saison». I thought the food here was pretty good for a Brewery. You don’t go here for the food, but its of sufficient quality to be a great addition to the brewery. It makes this a great place to go hang out with friends. They also have non-alcoholic options to drink, so you can bring the kids if you must. I have to say this is my goto spot in Rock Hill now. Hope to see you there!

Neat place. Beers I had were very good. We went on a Thursday night around 8 and it was still very crowded. Got lucky with sparking spot. Speaking of parking, it’s not great — tight spaces and disorganized lot. They should«blow that up» and start over. I had 2 different porters. The peanut butter and the regular. A little more bitter than I am use to but still quite delicious. We ordered the chips and dip for an app. The onion pieces were quite big making it very hard to get the dip on the chip. I suggest they cut the onion into smaller pieces. For the meal, I ordered a burger with cheddar and their bacon. The bacon is 5 star! However I Orders the burger medium rare and it came out quite rare. Very disappointing. I should have sent back but just pressed on. The fries in a place like this should be A+. The kind that people come for only. But, they seemed to be pre-cut like Ore-Ida from the freezer section. That’s a simple fix. I will give them another shot but they really need to step up their food game. We sat outside and that was really neat — even on a chilly night. Love the fire pits. Will sit at one of those next time — even if for just a beer afterwards. The«European» style cafeteria seating is a neat idea.

I almost hate to tell you how awesome Legal Remedy is because then it’ll get way more crowded, but they deserve the kudos. The fella and I stopped in on a whim on a Sunday afternoon to drink and watch the Panthers game, and I’m so excited about LRB that I’m writing this review as I sit here. Beer — As a non beer-drinker, I appreciate that they have a cider on tap as well as wine(varities of red, white, and prosecco). I love that the legal theme runs throughout the names of their beers — Signed Petition Stout, Alibi Ale, Witness White IPA, Pro Bono Porter — and the beer nerd fella loved trying their 4 sample flight. His faves were the porter and Motion to Strike Milk Stout. Food — We only tried the poutine, which was amazing with pimento cheese and hot, sweet pepper jelly on top of the fries, but everything that came out of the kitchen looked drool-worthy. Atmosphere — Reminded me of Mac’s with tables inside and a pretty long bar, and then a massive, covered outdoor area. The difference is that there’s a garage door that’ll lift up on a nice day. I also love that the tap handles are gavels, and the bathroom is listed as «Chambers.» They also have t-shirts and hats for sale. Service — Amazing. Our bartender is from Rock Hill and told us the story of how it used to be a Chevy dealership and sat empty for 25 years. You could tell he really loved beer. He also said they were looking at adding some bourbon and was really enthusiastic about future plans. Overall — I realize I can give out a 5-star review too easily, but Legal Remedy deserves it. This is an awesome addition to Rock Hill!

I had such high hopes for Legal Remedy — we drove an hour to check out the«new kid on the block», but over the course of the next hour those hopes were dashed on the rocks of life… The facility/restaurant itself has a very cool look and vibe to it with some great outdoor seating that resembles an old school drive up/in restaurant. At noon on Saturday, it was busy but we didn’t have to wait for a table. Our waitress Courtney informed us that a fixture had fallen off the wall breaking all of their sampler glasses, so they were not doing flights. What? Very, very disappointing. So when you open a brewery, do you think people are coming mostly to sample your food or your beer? The correct answer is beer. It would cost maybe $ 100 for a manager or owner to go to the Dollar Store, Walmart or somewhere else to buy a bunch of temporary 3– 4 oz glassware. A wise investment to keep patrons happy until your replacement logo glassware arrives. We did end up with some half pints but had to roll the dice on our choices and limit what we sampled. The Blueberry Saison and The Red Rye IPA were the best of the few we tried and I would rate the beer 3 stars without hesitation. Now onto the food, the fried pickles were good but waaay to salty. The Poutine Fries covered in pimento cheese were also good, but the Pepper Jam imparted a sweetness that made some bites a little too sweet and odd(some people may love this though). The Southern Fried Chicken Salad was probably the best entrée, with some tasty pecan pralines and pickled onions. I love fish and chips and ordered the item great anticipation. When it arrived it was obviously overcooked(very dark brown, see my picture) and dripping with grease(the underside was even darker) –ugh-why would you even let this item leave the kitchen and not just recook it? I ate the fish(super chewy) out from the inside of the batter. An adept waitress would have noticed the volume remaining of my dissected meal along with my facial expressions of displeasure. Be aware that the pickled onions have cinnamon(and possibly nutmeg or clove), which I like but my kids did not; their side salad remained untouched because it tasted like cinnamon. We were brought a side of fries for the kid’s chicken tender meal($ 3 per chicken tender) that we didn’t ask for and that they didn’t eat. When we pointed it out to our waitress, she said she would take it off but she didn’t. Please also be aware that every time you ask for more salad dressing, they are adding it on to your bill. As we were finishing, we noticed the table next to us was brought three samples of different beers to try. What??? I asked Courtney how the table next to us got to taste beer before they ordered one. She backpedaled and said«Oh we do have some left for samplers.» Very poor form. I guess she just didn’t want to bother. For the first time in a long time I left less than 20%. I was so upset over the extreme lack of communication on multiple issues and the lack of concern for overcooked food that I almost felt like leaving nothing to compensate for my feelings of buyer’s remorse.
