Manchester Park

This park is amazing!!! It is so nice and kept clean. My son loves to play at the play ground. It is very well lit up at night. The only thing bad is durring the day there is no shade and the playground equipment gets too hot and it burns the kids. Other then the playground being hot it has a beautiful walkway with a fountain.

My kids love this park. They love the play area. I like that it is accident friendly. Also that there are benches all around which makes for plenty of sitting area. The environment is maintained nicely. We like the walking areas. The bathrooms are a bit further away from the play area then normal, but my kids and I make it fun by playing Simon says on the way.

One of the most beautiful and well-​planned community soccer facilities I’ve ever seen, and I say that as someone who has been involved in soccer organizations in a variety of capacities in the past. The layout and lighting provided are pretty much a dream for any facility like this. Most of all, beyond the well-​positioned nature of restrooms, concessions, and other central facilities is the fact that at night, with those first-​rate lighting arrays on full bright, on that turf, any player at any level is gonna feel like he or she is at Wembly or Old Trafford or Estadio Santiago Bernabéu. This is a seriously first-​rate soccer facility and Rock Hill is very fortunate to have it.

Manchester Meadows is geared towards some family fun and fitness.
The most obvious features of the park… are the 8 soccer fields. There is stadium seating around the two AstroTurf fields and lighting is afforded to all of the fields. The fields here are very well kept and the surrounding area is clean and cared for.
In the middle of the soccer complex, there is a concession area and restrooms.
For those that are not here for the soccer, there are trails that wind around the soccer fields and briefly diverge into the surrounding foliage. The trails are nice for a small bike ride or a pleasant stroll. The trails are less than 2 miles… so leisurely… would describe the trail in one word.
Next to the soccer fields is a pavilion with picnic tables. There is also another pavilion near the playground. The pavilion near the soccer fields and pond holds more people and affords the user the use of restrooms.
Closer to the entrance of the park, there are two playgrounds. One of the playgrounds is for the little tykes… and the other is for our rambunctious runners. A word of caution… playground equipment may not be shiny steel anymore… but it still gets hot in the summer.
Manchester Meadows is a great place to get the blood flowing and let the kids have some time to blow off steam. The whole area is clean… and a nice place for picnic.
