Paces River Apartments

We enjoy our apartment. We pay a great price for a one bedroom. Love that it is in a wooded area. Two things I want to mention… Darrell the maintenance man is the best! I mean I know that everything will get fixed because he works here. He also lives close which makes us feel safe. Another thing I would mention is that the staff is not the best. The only person that has made an effort is Ms. Emily. They are very disorganized in the office. We do maintenance requests online now because they seem to get it done without us having to call vs. telling them about it.

We currently live in the Paces River apartments. There are things we love and hate about being here. The staff are great and very helpful… Always. Our apartment is what you would pay for at $ 725 a month. Not to nice but nice enough to not have to move. There are updated apartments that are roughly $ 100-​$ 150 more. We have a one bed one bath apartment with A balcony. We really love that the complex is a very wooded area probably the most wooded area we have seen for this type of apartment complex. It’s great for our chocolate lab Remi. This was the only apartment we could find that would allow us to have a Lab at 65 pounds. We have been in the apartment now for 5 months and already had upgrades added to the apartment such as they upgraded our heating and cooling system to all new everything for 30 apartments. I see our money being invested into the property.

My sister was interested in these apartments & since she has had no rental history for the past couple of years as she was helping my brother with his 5 children as a live in nanny and had some negative credit from putting her family before her finances we offered to cosign for her or be her «guarantor «as stated on their website.
We spent several days gathering personal information as each time we sent a document they needed additional information. After my sister was told that she was approved but they were just waiting to finalize the paperwork, they called her to tell her they DO NOT accept co-​signers at that location! Are you serious?! After needing specific additional information repeatedly and inconveniencing us many times … now your telling us you don’t accept co-​signers?! I called the next day & spoke with Kelly and asked her to explain this to me and all she kept saying was «I don’t know!» These people are extremely unprofessional and now thinking it is probably a blessing in disguise that this did now work out for her. I have since read many bad reviews on Paces River and their incompetent staff! Be warned! By the way, I have never posted a review on anything but this was one that I could not pass up! Very inconsiderate of our time and rude! Also have our personal information and I am assuming they ran both mine & my husband’s credit report for no reason! Unbelievable!

Went in looking to these apartments and my first choice. When we went in the girls were confused about pricing, apartment availability, etc. They kept going back and forth about how much things are and couldn’t give me a solid answer. They said they were just helping out there, but they weren’t very helpful. Really wish we would’ve been better received. The location and setup is perfect
