Red Roof Inn Rock Hill

I was check in to a very dirty bathroom. I took pictures of it, and called the front desk. The desk lady told me there’s nothing she could do, because they were sold out. So I cleaned the bathroom myself. The next day I spoke with management. He was very rude and unapologetic about my clear problem. He told me they never have that problem before… Then a guest walked in as I was speaking with him. And demanded his money back because his bathroom wasn’t clean. I told the manager «how can you say you never have this problem and this guy is telling you the same thing I’m saying.» two people can’t tell the same lie. Then the manager starts screaming and yelling at me. Telling me not to talk to him and get in between what him and the other man conversation… He told me to mind my business or get out of the hotel! I’ve never been so disrespected and belittled by someone in management like that a day in my life. The way he handle my situation was totally improper. He treated as if I wasn’t a human being. I should be a valued customer, because I’ve been coming there every week for the past 4months… I told him that and then he offers me 15% off my room. After he yelled at me made me feel less than a person. Tried to kick me out, and lied to me by saying they never have problems with cleanliness of the rooms. He never apologize for the inconvenience of me having to clean my own room that should have been cleaned before I got there. I use to like coming to stay at the red roof inn. Until this happened I would like to remain a customer. But I feel very resilient because of the way I was treated and disrespected that if this problem ever was to reoccur I would get the same treatment. No one should ever treat a person how he treated me. He ruined my romantic date I was having with my fiancé. And I can’t get that time back… Sad but very true.

It’s not 5-​Star posh, but if you need to sleep, then it’s just fine. The room (upon initial inspection) seemed very clean, albeit old.

This place was disgusting. I understand that you get what you paid for, but this was not okay. The bathroom was nasty and there were greasy hand prints on the head board of the bed. If they don’t clean those things, what else don’t they clean?
