Yuppy Puppy Pet Spa & Boarding

We used yuppy puppy right after they opened. Our dogs we groomed to our satisfaction. However we started noticing redness around the noses and they were not very friendly toward groomers. The owner asked us not to bring them back. I have found another groomer and they are absolutely wonderful with our 2 dogs. No redness and no issues with snipping at groomer. I think they were were to rough at yuppy puppy. My dogs look forward to go to groomer now.

Tivanie is absolutely amazing as is her father who is often there when I pick up or drop off my sweet lab mix, Sammy! I hate boarding my dog, but Tivanie and her father make me feel so at ease when I leave Sammy at Yuppy Puppy. Every time I pull into the parking lot, Sammy is excited and ready to go! I’m told he’s really well behaved there and I like how they take the dogs out to their play area every two hours. Whenever I use them for grooming, my dog comes home clean and smelling awesome with perfectly filed nails! We’ve recently moved to charlotte, but I continue to use Yuppy puppy because of how well my dog responds to them and how much I trust the owners!

I have to give Yuppy Puppy two stars because they took our young pup when we could not find anyone else for a trip we had planned and could not take our little guy with us. Other than that, they are not a place we will use again.
I just do not trust this place, not sure what it is, but it did not leave us with warm feelings. It is a small place and just doesn’t seem desirable for a dog. Also I asked for our dog to be fed a half cup three times a day, and we left them with extra food in case something happened to delay us. Well they fed it all to him! Glad he was fed, but too much. As soon as rocky got home he downed water as if he had not had any that day. He was excited to be home and ready to play. Might be just a place for dogs to sleep and be fed, but nothing else.
Will look somewhere else for our next trip.
