I had the best time stopping in again. Great winery and great customer service. The guy that was pouring was so fun. Will be definitely stopping in again.

This was a fun find along the wine trail! Loved the name and our tasting experience. We bought a poster and souvenirs but did not care for the wine that much.

My cousin wanted to stop at this winery, but I didn’t really like the name of it and expected the wine wouldn’t be that good and I was right. I did a tasting and all the wine I tired was awful and on top of that the girl who poured the wine was not friendly and seemed like I was bothering her.

This was our second stop on our day of wineries. It was very generic looks like they are just starting out. We had to go just because of the name. Wine was ok we did end up buying a bottle of smart ass white. But the shirts and wine accessories were a big draw. We end up buying 2 shirts. Employee pouring wine was pretty blah and forgot to give my husband one of the tastings and just walked away. So we had to get her back and she seemed mad that we disturbed her from doing nothing. If they get there stuff together they could really have a good thing going. They need get some customer friendly funny wine pourers and have some fun with their product.

This was a fun little change of pace. You can tell they are not nearly as experienced as other wineries surrounding them. They just don’t have as much going on. But with it being our third stop we could have had fun at a lemonade stand. Friendly staff and tasty wines. Can’t really ask for more than that!

The four of us went here for our first trip to a winery and our first tasting. Upon arrival, I’ve never before found a wine I really liked. Now I’m considering becoming a lush. The variety was expansive and oh so yummy. The taster guide person was super friendly and not at all pretentious. We didn’t get a lesson, just had fun. We found it hysterical that she kept saying«Kiss my ass.»(That’s in the name of most of the wines.) A good place to go for people who just want to quickly check out a winery at the Finger Lakes and have fun. They also have tons of hysterical shirts and other paraphernalia for sale.

Stopped at pompous ass while wine tasting… The owner poured for us and we chatted while tasting, what a great guy! He was generous with our tastes and offered us a few extra tastes as well! My husband and I LOVE the theme, it’s a fun place to check out. We bought some tasty wines that we think are perfect for bringing to a party!

They are lucky to have a fun creative name — they will sell the name and merchandise more than the wine. It just wasn’t good. Only 7.99 a bottle and still not worth buying. The staff was nice and I wanted to like something, but just did not.

Fun place. I think it was only a $ 2 tasting. Clothing line is witty and half the reason to stop. Wine is pretty decent and affordable. Offered 25% off a case. Very nice staff.

My mom and I stopped here for some tastings, and while it was busy(Saturday afternoon during Columbus day weekend) we didn’t feel rushed by the pourer. There were some sweet wine options that we enjoyed, and we definitely got a kick out of all the ‘Kiss my Ass’ décor & merchandise. Prices were reasonable, the wine enjoyable, and we’d visit again!

Could be a FUN stop but the man who was the wine pourer had No personality what so ever… Wineries are an experience and the staff are who create ut. They need prrsonality training!

The wine really is mediocre compared to some of the other wineries in the area. I agree with other reviewers that the tasting felt very rushed, almost as if they couldn’t get us out of there fast enough. Considering there was only one other couple tasting wine, I thought that was a little strange. They don’t leave much time to talk about each wine individually and you almost feel awkward asking questions because they seem to pour the wine and then basically run away. To be honest they seem to be more hung up on their«kiss my ass» and«pompous ass» gimmicky merchandise than the quality and value of their wine. If you do go, I recommend trying the Riesling. Once again, compared to other wineries, I won’t be traveling back to do another tasting.

Hmmm… quite surprised at the reviews! On our recent trip to the Finger Lakes, Pompous Ass Winery is one of my faves! The Blush table wine is very tasty and always pair it with a veggie pizza or a simple cheese platter.

Okay, concept is fun and funky… But I really didn’t like their wines and staff. It has bitter ending taste and staff wasn’t friendly.

Not the best winery along Seneca Lake. The winery was super crowded, probably because they’re open later than many other wineries and I went after 5 p.m. The customer service suffered as a result. The spiel about each wine was definitely canned with no opportunity to ask further questions.

One of the faster tastings we did, but we didn’t feel rushed. The wine is a bit overpriced for the quality. They have fun merchandise, but I wouldn’t recommend them for wine or a tasting.

I thought that the outside appearance wasn’t as beautiful as some of the other wineries in the area. I thought the merchandise was a bit pricey. The wine was good, but I didn’t have any favorites.

This was a horrible experience for a tasting room. I felt like I had been herded through a tasting, nothing explained, or even tried to make me want to buy that crap. Granted it was a weekend, but this was the worst experience I’d ever had in a tasting room. A 2 dollar tasting should take longer than 30 seconds, while pushing us through to wait on the bus to unload. I’m sorry my money is the same as the buses money. I really regret stopping there. Never again.
