Rude staff. Pizza is always burnt on the bottom. Sausage rolls/calzones are always undercooked — raw dough always! Would never try one of their dinners. Avoid this place.

Ordered large pie and requested Alfredo sauce instead of marinara, with spinach chicken and bacon. It arrived(had my friend pick up) and noticed immediately the over abundance of spinach which was soggy and watery sludge(canned?). No mozzarella cheese on top and very little amount of bacon and chicken. The disgusting mess slid off of the crust immediately when picked it up, and for 30.00 was the worst concoction I ever witnessed and feel as if had been robbed. Never again!

Quick slices. A decent amount of seating too. TV in the back room. I was in and out of here, thus the brief review. I should add that the service was friendly, old-time family style. I’d be curious to drop in and have dinner. The slices were delicious, just not anything to write home about.

My daughter ordered her slice with sausage. As soon as she got her pizza she removed all the meat from it. The pizzaria owner asked, «do you take the sausage off and eat it on the side?» She answered yes, and the man responded with, «God bless you.» If you can’t appreciate this story, you’ve never had NY pizza.

Could not be happier with Ciro’s on 116th… especially now that we live steps away! Always, fast, fresh, delicious, generous in serving and made to order right in front of your eyes. Recently requested a special order Sicilian cut pie(We’ve coined it «The Kirkland Classic» in the photos) filled with Broccoli, Spinach, Olives and a few other extra special ingredients. An entire pie… gone. We loved it and all the other menu items we’ve tried so don’t be surprised if you see us hanging around grabbing more {:

Four stars because it’s a regular slice taste good. Made by old skool Italians. Plus i even saw them deliver a pie to someone on the boardwalk! Sort of has a vintage vibe to it. Years ago places like this were comon here in NYC. Nice place and won’t break the bank

Best pizza option in the Rockaways. The pizza is always fresh– wide variety of different pizzas– the regular slices are awesome and so are their spinach rolls. We order from here once a week–

We have practically a standing order every week, same day, same time for a couple of years and have to say that lately there’s been a downgrade of the pizza. Markedly less cheese. Not nearly as tasty as in the past, amount of toppings reduced. Staff is always friendly. Delivery prompt. The pizza not as good as it has been. Hopefully will turn around.

we ordered a regular pie with pepperoni. Upon getting this pie home the grease had leaked through the box. The pie was overcooked and greasy and the sauce had absolutely no taste. I will never buy from here again. The is another pizza place up the street called slices and ices that beat out ciros hands down

Ordered a delivery of: Garlic/oil penne with grilled chicken and broccoli Calzone The food was genuinely AMAZING; I wasn’t expecting much but my pasta seems as if it could have come out of a fancy Italian restaurant instead of a pizza restaurant. I’ll keep it short. The broccoli was completely and ideally drenched in the olive oil and garlic. The pasta was the perfect amount of al dente, almost crispy in that way pasta can be if cooked perfectly. The calzone was exploding with ricotta and mozzarella. Needless to say, they most likely just shoved this together with no care as to how it would taste as long as it would be considered all right. That’s okay though because they exceed all expectations of all right; I would definitely order from here again! I GIVETHEMFOURSTARSBECAUSE I believe they may have possibly rounded up their total price for the food a couple bucks. Honesty is the best policy, but the taste of their food makes up for my suspicions.

Best pizza in Rockaway, the best beach in New York City. They even have tables outside to eat your pizza.

Delicious pizza, good wings and great salads. I wish they took credit cards because I would order delivery more if I didn’t have to find cash.

This place makes the best pie in RB. It’s not fancy or expensive however it’s hot fresh and a great tasting pie made to order in 10 min. The best when your in a rush with no bullshit and it’s made by Italians

My Favorite Rockaway Slice Now that I’m living out West, I still try to visit for a slice whenever I’m in town. Growing up, everyone had their favorite, and the Original(Beach Block) Ciro’s was mine. I believe that the current owner(from Sicily?) took over when I was in high school in the 80’s. It’s fun to stop in once a year or so. Style is typical NY thin crust with a slightly spicy sauce baked in a gas oven. I stick to a simple slice(one or two toppings) and a coke and am not disappointed. For a long time, this was also the only place in the neighborhood to get a proper espresso. When will all the hipsters discover Ciro’s? p. s. Don’t confuse with the other Ciro’s by the bay.
