EVERYONE that works here is rude as fuck especially the managers, eat somewhere else where your money is actually appreciated.

Manager was SUPER rude. Ripped the bag out of my hand when they messed up my order. Had a very bad attitude and was very disrespectful. Never had problems with this one before. Hopefully that lady stops working there.

From the outside, Beef A Roo looks like a Portillos. That being said, my hopes were high. Their menu had a lot of atypical items… from chocolate peanut butter rice krispies to baked potatoes and bruschetta burgers. I rolled with a chicken sandwich… so disappointing. Not a place I would ever go again.

A Rockford original and a revolution in fast food. Despite its«Beefy» name Beef-a-Roo has the healthiest menu available from a drive thru. I recommend the Cilantro lime turkey, the Santa Fe chicken salad(a meal in itself) and the buffalo chicken sandwich. Also, the seasoned salt it a total winner. Get a can for home. The kids love the themes — 50’s drive-inn, fire house, log cabin, wharehouse and the mint chocolate delivery at the end.

It’s pretty decent for fast food. It is kinda like Portillo’s but more fast food oriented. I just heard that it was a Rockford only chain(well at least not in Chicago) so we went in for a late meal. I actually got a chicken sandwich, but my girl got a beef something. The fries were pretty decent. As most smaller gigs, it’s a step up from the huge corporate chains. Also, the name is fun to say.

I really love Beefaroo. The roast beef sandwiches are always a great choice and I always have to get a cheese fry! Some other food that I love is the turkey club wrap and the buffalo chicken wrap.
