We happened to stop by here on our way back from Apple Jack orchards. This is a family owned n operated farm, the people here are really nice, they took us around and explained how to choose n pick best raspberry. They had few vegetables like Beets, carrots, cherry tomatoes all ready to pick. My kids enjoyed picking strawberries, raspberries and Pumpkin. They generally allow Apple picking as well but today they weren’t allowing, but they had the freshly picked Apple for purchase. Overall this is a nice fun place to spend day though they don’t have other attractions like hey ride, animals etc. most importantly they don’t have entry fees and prices are very economical compared to other places around. I will come back here before Halloween close.

Stopped here for pumpkins this year since my regular pumpkin place was out of stock for the year already. I was very happy with Knapton’s! They have a very large selection of carving and ornamental pumpkins, gourds, indian corn, etc., plus a huge pick-your-own patch as well. The man I spoke to(not sure if it was the owner, I never got his name) was super friendly and helpful. I was also very pleased because I brought my dog with me, but left her in the car figuring that she wasn’t allowed. Turns out he was totally fine having her walk around and pick out pumpkins with me! The only downside I found with Knapton’s was that there appeared to be only wheelbarrows to transport your found pumpkins, which is pretty much impossible if you are holding a dog’s leash! I imagine it would be pretty difficult if you are holding a child’s hand or carrying something as well, so wagons that you can pull would be a lot easier! I would definitely visit Knapton’s again!
