The Logli chain changed once Schnuck’s took over. The meat is tasteless, expensive and all the same shade of red. Their apples are not sweet and brown quickly. Woodman’s is better priced for meat and fish and their vegetables are fresher. They also pack the aisles with junk for sale that is better suited to a dollar store.

I’ve been coming to Logli’s for my entire life, so I’ve seen it grow and change. The most recent version is updated, has a large produce section, the addition of an antipasto area, and in general, a wide variety of products(though no Smart Food popcorn, what?!). They have a zillions of breads and a decent offering of lunch meats, and though some may be expensive, look for the specials, they often include quality choices. The pizzas, both cooked or pre-baked, are delicious and towards the end of the day they have made zas available(in a heated case by the salad bar) for less. The salad bar has changed since I was little, as it looks like they offer more veggies and actual«salad» not«salads»(like lettuces and veggies versus pasta and potato salad). The soup area has been upgraded and it seems like chicken noodle soup is always available(what more could I ask for?). Unless there is a good sale, the soda is overpriced. Every once in a while there are also some sales on beer, but not often. In the end, some times expensive(look for the specials), always delicious, and a wide variety of products being offered.

I needed nice flowers for my boyfriend’s mom and when he suggested a supermarket I just laughed. But he promised me they have a real floral section and his mom wouldn’t know they were supermarket flowers. I trusted him and I am so glad that I did! The flowers were colorful and beautiful(see posted pic) and exactly what I needed to impress his mom. They were a bit pricey and more than I thought I wanted to spend(I can’t even remember now…$ 30?) but I decided to go for it since it was our first meeting!

I would have to be rich to shop here often as everything seemed rather overpriced. The store was a good size, the shelves were full, and the produce/meats/deli all had high quality products. The items on sale were a great deal, but the other items were just too high priced for my liking. I understand that Logli differentiates itself by being the première store in this area, but with a Super Walmart basically across the street I guess I would rather just head over there and save my money for the première things in life(beer and bourbon).
