The staff is friendly, but the hotel was just dropped from the «Choice Hotel» group. So it’s independent now. The hotel needs updating. It’s not very clean. The new owners seem happy to accommodate to the needs of people, but I just don’t think that I would stay there again unless they cleaned up the rooms, and renovated. The price was competitive, and we stayed there because we needed a suite with three beds. Other than that, we’ll be looking for another place to stay when we have to book an inexpensive room in Rockford IL.

Clean, nice rooms, staff is ok. Only reason why I gave it three stars is because the room was too tiny to be $ 67 a night. But it’s not like I’m trying to move here. I would recommend this hotel. Holiday inn is down the street, however Holiday inn is really not what people make it out to be.
