I really don’t understand the disdain presented in these comments. I have frequented this location on several occasions without any negative experiences. Perhaps if the clientele would pay attention to what the workers are requesting, these problems might be avoided. They are required to follow very specific criteria. It is not their choice on what they can or cannot accept. If you have issues with their policies you should direct those to the state legislature. They are the folks that actually make the laws these folks have to follow. I know for a fact that most repeat visits are due to people not following the directions that are given to them the first time causing multiple visits. Is there a long wait? Absolutely. Perhaps if so many people were more responsible with their affairs, the lobby wouldn’t be packed with difficult cases.

As James states, this is by far one of the worst DMVs I have ever been to. I purposely drive way out of my way to go to the Baxter road location where you walk right in. The only good thing about this location is the drive thru renewal window but even that depends on which day/time you are there.

HATE. HATE. HATE. this place. You know all of those stereotypical DMVs you see in movies, I swear that is the model they use to run this place. I’ve never had an easy or friendly time here. A lot of attitude, mixed messages and staff that doesn’t know their jobs. I had to prove insurance on my motorcycle, they made me jump through hoops. Every time I would go back, the next person would tell me I needed one more thing. The second to last time I asked for a complete list of everything I needed. The lady told me I only needed one more item. When I came back I was told I still needed more, I ended up argueing and getting others involved before it was resolved. Yeah… That seems to be a repeat pattern here. So if you have to go, prepare for long waits, attitude and misinformation.
