I do not visit the Flatiron Café. After being a patron for several months l found the owner to be unfriendly to the point of rudeness. Several of friends and acquaintances have also moved on because of this. Lisa’s Deli is a great place.

Such a cool space — spacious, eclectic, quiet, and welcoming. Wish I could’ve stayed for longer. The coffee was alright — not the best, and the million dollar cookie was cheeky but could use some tweaking on the recipe.

Great coffee, great snacks, great staff. The beans they use are from a nearby roaster, and they use local milk. The cakes and pastries are delightful as well. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Great place to sit and work, read, or relax. I have been several times, and always happy with what I order.

This place is on point every time I come by. The coffee is great, the staff is friendly, and the snacks are yummy. I’m only in town once or twice a month but I always try to swing by. The Flat Iron Exchange is what a coffee shop should be.

A great coffee shop, the Sun Tea was delicious, the Hot Cappuccino looked very good, the brownies were to die for. This will 100% be added to our regular rotation of coffee shops

The coffee is excellent, the hours are great and the folks behind the counter are funny, helpful and nice. The place is scattered with table-top games and a wide selection of magazines and daily papers. Comfy furniture and an unpredictable(yet always good) selection of pastries make this one of our favorites.

I was excited at first to see that a coffee shop had opened in the dead town of bellows falls and had hopes that it would be good. Although the space is nice(however still looks somewhat unfinished), the coffee is nothing to get excited about… I had ordered a mocha which they looked at me like I had 3 eyes and kept asking me how to make it. In the end it was pretty bad. To give them benefit of doubt I went in there a couple more times to see if anything improved since they had just opened and no it was basically the same. For serious coffee lovers– or atleast those who appreciate a good mocha– this place is not for you. I give the owners credit for opening the place and making the effort but they really need to hire experienced baristas and people who know how to make good coffee. What they have now is insulting for the price. Another thing which bothered me was that they don’t turn on the air conditioner– in the high humid heat of summer it would be the right thing to do for paying customers. Can’t even enjoy just hanging out in there due to the heat– its uncomfortable.

Perfect place to spend the day studying/working. Great coffee and pastries, comfortable seating, and the best part is that they serve local coffee and milk products! The customer service was phenomenal. You can tell that they really take time to get to know their customers. I was here working for over 6 hours and the gentleman working knew almost every customer by name who came in and treated everyone like family. We aren’t from around here, but I wish we were so that we could come back!
