Totally great little place on Maine street in Rockland. I concur with the reviews below. Have had a fair share of tapas in my time, and I would call this restaurant pan-​tapas; a mix of Spanish, Mexican, and South American styles. My wife and I had just tapas: cheese plate, scallops, beets, and tortilla. All were great. Pan-​tapas example: the tortilla came in a small cast iron skillet with a piece of manchego broiled on top and mole sauce… interesting and tasty. Service was good and the place itself is all by cozy felling. If anything lacks its the wine list.

We made a last minute reservation with 4 adults and 2 kids and Comida was so accommodating and cool about it. The service was great. The food was great, too. I had the pork chop and a mixed salad. Both were fantastic, but my husband’s chicken mole was even better. I am getting that next time we go here. It was actually better than the chicken mole I had in Mexico City! My kids were a little on the noisy side when we were in there but it’s a lively place, so they blended in. I’d recommend this place highly!

Tried this restaurant based on an article in Downeast Magazine. The service was good, ambiance good, menu was interesting but the food our group of four had has excellent. Each dish from beginning to end was unique, plentiful and fantastic tasting. Price was is not inexpensive but very fair for the quality of the meal.

We went to Rockland’s new Comida Restaurant last night and were very positively impressed! The food was absolutely delicious, atmosphere quiet and relaxed, and the service was excellent. For a first course we ordered their simple mixed salad which came with almonds, goat cheese, and their homemade lemon dressing. Very fresh and delicious. I ordered their pork entrée and my husband ordered their Hangar steak. The pork was cooked to perfection with a red wine reduction sauce, greens and white beans. This is the best dinner out I have had in literally ages! Delicious! My husband had the hangar steak which came with a truly tasty sauce and greens. It was rich but absolutely delicious! I feel sure this will be one of our favorite Rockland restaurants… I can hardly wait to go back! They will be open year round… another bonus! So glad to have them on our Main Street! :-)
