Worst moving company ever. They scratched my furniture and held my stuff hostage on the truck until I paid cash and tipped Glenn himself. I paid 5 hours for a 2 hour job. They are so unethical.

I could not agree more with the other two reviewers. If ever there was a company that needed to be investigated by the Better Business Bureau, this is IT! I was told that there would be 3 guys for my move — 5 showed up because they said it would be «faster» but they never told me there was a minimum charge (which was more for 5 guys) so I paid through the nose for a crappy job. And they know they’ve got you because when you have to be out of your house, what are you going to do?
NEVER use this company — especially if you are a single woman.

A customer just walked into my place of business (an Office Furniture Store) FUMING that she had just gotten *screwed* by Glenn’s Moving & Storage. After making her give them $ 3600 CASH to unload the truck, (she called the owner and he said she had to) they destroyed her home office desk and TV and left her mattress (that they had folded in half on the truck) on the floor without putting the bed together or showing her where the pieces were! They didn’t put her refrigerator together and left everything haphazardly around her new house.
This reminded me of my moving experience with Glenn’s 8 years ago… They didn’t ruin any of my furniture, but the drivers pressured me into driving to the ATM to give them an extra $ 400 cash — because it took longer than they expected (mind you, I bought them pizza for lunch and they took a break to eat it). I was alone and didn’t know what to do. In hindsight, I should have called a male friend (or the police) before I went to the ATM, but I was a single girl, just excited to move into her first condo, and ignorant of con artists.
BE AWARE: IF YOU ARE A SINGLE WOMAN, DO NOT USE GLENN’S MOVING! With that said, NO ONE should use them.
