Has some serious customer service issues there. 9 out of 10 times I have been in it’s been terrible and while they have some great clothing brands and kitchen goods. I question why I would spend my money there.
I give 1 star because they will gift wrap your items.
If you are are traveling to the Rockland area I recommend shopping next door at archipelago where they sell amazing items made in Maine.

The Grasshopper Shop is the huge kitchenware/​clothing/​stationery/​gift/​random tourist goods shop in downtown Rockland. I walked by a few times before I decided to go in– I would usually have totally avoided it but they claimed to have local artisan goods so I decided to check it out.
About 90% of the store could be purchased anywhere in America. Plates, glasses, galoshes, shapeless old lady clothes, etc. But there were a few gems that make this store worthwhile. I picked up a handcrafted ceramic mug, and considered some cute dishtowels and nautical silverware.
Probably a good place to get «Maine» gifts for your whole family while you visit.
