Dr. Cao is Very knowledgeable and respectful. He has provided trustworthy attentive medical care to my son and I for over 5 years. He has properly prescribed medication to lower my blood pressure successfully and essentially saved my life a few months ago when I came in with a cat bite that became sepsis infected. He immediately treated it with a powerful antibiotic shot and a follow up visit 2 days later prescribed an oral antibiotic to ensure the infection would go away and it did. I recommend Dr. Cao without reservation.

Do not go to Dr. Cao unless you feel like being treated poorly. Dr. Kao was condescending, unprofessional and seemed agitated. It was a very uncomfortable appointment. I had chest pain with painful breathing he laughed at me and asked me what I wanted him to do. I’ve since seen doctors who actually got to the root of the problem and I’m being treated. He has a 2 star rating online on other sites. I only saw this Doctor because my Doctor called in sick. When I complained to staff there they said to try working with him!

Dr. Cao has always been extremely helpful for both me and my husband. He really does care about his patients. I have been a UC davis patient for over 25 years and he is one of the best doctors I have seen and believe me I have seen plenty from speciality to pediatrics. Hands down I would recommend Dr. Cao to anyone.

I lost 60 lbs in 4 months by diet and walking. Checked in with Dr Cao to be told I walk to slow followed by a bill for $ 185.00. Not sure if 1) does not believe in encouraging weight loss 2) wanted to keep by BP high. Now UC Davis Medical is billing me for over $ 700.00 in lab test I did not have on that visit and can not provide any proof behind the bill — yet the keep sending bills. Total cost — $ 885.00 to be told I walk to slow. Not a good investment my time and money.
