La Petite Academy

Our family loves this place. They are fantastic and I’m so happy we found it. We’ve been there a little over two years and have 3 kids in care here.

The staff here are very rude, don’t even take your child here.
I dropped in first time for care of my daughter 7 yrs old through my back up care program, they said the paperwork will take couple hours and acted rather very badly and said «sorry» sarcastically in a teasing manner, i would never go there again.

La Petite @ Stanford Ranch rd is a better place compared to the rest of the child care facilities in this area. Our son was attending this day care and we had to put him in a nearby child care for some time, where they got so +ve many Unilocal reviews, lately we came to know that they are paying $ 10 for the reviews on Unilocal.Based on our experience La Petite is a good place for children under 4, for pre school we are now sending him to Rocklin Acadamey, and we are very satisfied with them.

We are bringing our 2^nd child through La Petite — we are on the same page with everything and if not, it’s because they are a page ahead of us. Now that is saying something.

I’ve been bringing my daughter here for 6 months now, and she absolutely loves it! When I pick her up she has a smile on her face and can’t wait to tell me about her day. I must say, although I hate being away from her, it’s a relief knowing she’s with a caring team of teachers and surrounded by her friends.

My son has been attending this school for almost a year and I could not be happier! His teachers are always kind, patient, in tune with his needs, courteous, professional and caring. I am continually impressed with my son’s development and learning. This facility provides top notch care and education. I love how the meals they serve the kids are healthy and encompass a wide variety of food. Choosing a day care provider for your child can be a hard decision, but I am so, so glad that we’ve chosen to come here!

Before enrolling my daughter at La Petite, I researched and visited all of the school in the Rocklin area. La Petite Rocklin is by far the best choice for our family. The staff is very professional and friendly. My daughter’s teachers are like an extended part of our family. I am not sure what the previous reviewer is referencing from a year and a half ago, but they have since gotten a new director, who is amazing! I personally have not seen or experienced any of the things «Roxanna G» has referenced. If you want your child to be in the best hands, search no more, and see for yourself. La Petite Rocklin is awesome, and I have recommended them time and time again to our family and friends.

I had my child here 1.5 years ago. This review is late but wanted to inform people. She only stayed there a short period of time, maybe 3 months. The reason we left was because we heard through neighbors that a parent in my neighborhood had a child going there and came home w/​bruises on the inner thighs, and the parents were reporting La Petite to the state. I am unsure of how the bruises happened, but I immediately asked the director of the facility if this was infact true, and she confirmed that it was. She said there was currently an investigation going on w/​some of their staff members but the state takes a long time to investigate and come to conclusions whether or not the facility would be fined. Until the state determines that any staff member was at fault for abuse, La Petite is not required to inform parents that there is an investigation going on. Instead of the director taking the approach with me that they were going to get to the bottom of the problem, she just tried to tell me she’s sure her staff did nothing wrong.
There were a few things that were unsettling about this place right when my child first started here but I tried to let go of, one being that there was a broken water fountain outside where the kids play and on one occasion when picking up my child, there were kids trying to drink out of it while water was just barely dribbling out of it and they all had put their mouths all over it. The employee just sat there and watched them do it. Gross! I reported it to the director to be fixed, why one of the employees hadn’t reported it already, I don’t understand! There was another time I came to pick up and there was another child with her hands all over my child, messing with her hair, pulling on her clothes… and there were 3 employees all standing there with the kids and not one of them asked this child to keep her hands off of my child.
Not trying to be judgemental of the employees but its just obvious that they all get paid very minimal, their appearances show for it. I do recall one employee with many missing teeth.
I just can’t say I had a great experience from the start, and then with allegations that a staff memeber harmed a child, I pulled mine out right away. They required a 2 week (paid) notice of withdrawl, I paid for the 2 weeks but did not take my child back.
