Delicious pizza and minestrone soup! So glad I live close enough for delivery. Nothing beats getting good food delivered straight to your door when you don’t feel like cooking. Definitely recommend this place. One of my favorites in Rocklin/Roseville!

Methinks not is right. This place is as close to Italian as Alpha Centauri is to Lake Como. Let’s start with the fried calamari. It was apparent that until it hit our table, this delightful tidbit had spent most of its time on the planet inside a Sysco truck. The breading to calamari ratio, as you may have guessed, weighed heavily in favor of the cheaper of the two ingredients. The pizza? Well, it looked appetizing. Except that it tasted like it had just crossed the Great Salt Lake. On foot. And the amount of garlic, either salt or powder was enough to kill any of the other flavors that would have been present had you been dining anywhere else in the known universe that knows how to make pizza. Mozzarella? Hmmm, more like feta or a blend of the two. The Spaghetti Bolognese? The spaghetti was overcooked and the Bolognese was a marinara with vegetables and a little meat in it. Two seconds in an Italian cookbook would reveal that this is NOT a Bolognese sauce. The beer selection was good and that was a much needed relief but $ 12 for a glass of wine? Bottom line is this place should concentrate on what it does best, burgers and brew. As to the knuckleheads who give this place five stars? Testa Dura as my Italian grandfather would say.

This place is small and you wouldn’t think to stop here. But its awesome. The food is fabulous and the owner is always around checking on everyone. Has TVs to watch the Giants etc. All the locals know its one of the best casual spots around.

I really hate leaving a bad review on a small business that has decent food, but after several attempts to speak to an owner on the phone… it is time. On May 15, 2016, my boss and I went to Primo’s for lunch. My friend and I were sitting near the kitchen(3 tables from the back) and the male owner was sitting at the last table. Towards the end of my meal, a young employee sat at the table between us and began placing the silverware in the already folded black napkins. The employee had his back to the kitchen and was facing the wall while he worked. In plain view of the owner and me, the male employee repeatedly picked up the silverware by the tines of the fork, or the knife and push it into the napkin. Then, he would put his hands on the chair to help himself up and walk the napkins with silverware over to a tray. On the way back to the chair to do more silverware, he would touch a variety of unsanitary surfaces. If I wasn’t having a business lunch, I would have said something right there. However, I didn’t want to alert my boss of the unsanitary actions happening behind her. I am perplexed the owner sat there on his phone while the employee did that and said nothing. I hope this establishment will take the time to properly train their employees about how to handle silverware. God knows what germs are on their seats, tables, pants, and everything else the guy while was touching before handling the silverware for your future meal! Yum!

Ordered the spinach salad. Very yummy, and the grilled chicken was full of flavor! My friend ordered the garden medley salad and hers looked just as yummy. Next time I plan on ordering pizza. Service was great as well. No complaints here!

Totally in love with this place. The vibe is amazing, very personable. And the food is delicious. I had the BBQ chicken sandwich had a little too many onions on it but I picked them off no big. But the bread was a French roll and toasted, so yummy. I had onion rings as my side and they’re onion rings are so crunchy and delicious and they didn’t cut up the top of my mouth like most restaurant onion rings do. Our waitress(who I think is the owners wife) was so nice I was with my sister brother in law and niece(who’s 3 yrs old) and our waitress was so good with my niece. Made her laugh made her smile kept giving her high fives, even made sure my niece was sitting safely near the table in her chair. Honestly with the mixture of the atmosphere the people and the food it was a fantastic place and I’d recommend it to anyone!

I finally tried this place out since moving here a couple years ago. I enjoyed my pesto chicken pizza, the chicken was good I should have asked for more pesto but that’s my bad. My kids loved their Fettuccine Alfredo and my husband liked his burger. The vibe is good, the staff is friendly. All in all we really enjoyed it. We’ll definitely be back.

The restaurant is a very busy, family owned place. We heard good reviews about it, so we decided to try it on a Thursday night. The place was packed, but we got a table right away. The owner was our waiter, and he was great! He’s very friendly and attentive. We ordered a pizza and a kids fettuccini. Both were delicious! The food came out pretty quickly(especially considering the amount of people eating and the kitchen size). Overall it was a good dinner, and we’ll definitely be back to try other items on the menu.

Bravo Primo! Food and ambiance are VERY good. I’ve tried a number of different dishes and they’re very well crafted with quality ingredients. The restaurant is located in an older«strip mall» sandwiched between a liquor store and a great coffee place. Remember, your parents always told you to NOT judge a book by its cover. Once you open to the first page, you’ll love this place! Rula(one of the owners) is delightful. She takes the time to get to know patrons and makes you feel like you’re part of her extended family. If you haven’t giving Primo’s a try, make it happen. :)

Ordered the Santa Barbara sandwich with French fries and salad. It was excellent. Also had iced tea. That needs improvement. It taste like water. Service was excellent. Real tall man with beard and mustache. What a worker. Said he has been there for 3 years. If I was a business owner I would hire him. Fast, Efficient, Friendly, and knows the menu extremely well. Great lunch Will be back

This is consistently some of the best pizza in the Sacramento area. Every aspect, from the wood-fired crust to the excellent mozzarella choice, fresh toppings and near perfect sauce, makes for a satisfying pie. They also have a few local and popular craft beers on tap. Service is excellent and quick. Secondarily, their burgers are pretty damn good but I’ll save them for another Unilocal

Went there tonight for my friends birthday dinner. 15 of us showed up 20 minutes early for our 6 pm reservation. I was really looking forward to trying the food, the birthday girl had been there many times and said it was amazing. Sadly when we went to sit at what we thought was our table the owner came over and let us know our table wasn’t ready yet, no big deal. A lady in our party mentioned going down the street to Original Petes so we could eat sooner and that really pissed the owner off. Next thing I know he’s yelling at my husband who was sitting in a corner to get out of the restaurant, our whole party was kicked out just like that. I was shocked, I’ve never been kicked out of any place. I’m sure the owner didn’t like the suggestion of going to another establishment but to immediately kick out a birthday party of 15 was ridiculous. Major bummer!

Maybe I had the wrong think you’re going to a pizza restaurant. It was busy I asked what the most popular sandwich was I ordered it it was cheap turkey with good bacon Certainly would never order that again. I might try something else next time if I go again They got three stars because the good service not for the sandwich

What a great strip mall find! Marinara from scratch is fantastic. The cheesy bread twists were incredibly good and nearly a meal themselves. We had the twists and we split an order of chicken Gorgonzola pasta and a small combination pizza. No complaints whatsoever. The pasta dish was insanely rich and full of flavor. The pizza was perfect. Neither of us could finish either dish. Add incredibly good service and a great selection of tap beers and you just can’t go wrong here. Our waitress’s name was Christy and she was nothing short of awesome. Took time to answer questions and explain the different dishes without ever showing any signs of impatience. One of the best service experiences I’ve had in some time.

Highlight: Really enjoyed Jennifer(pretty sure that’s her name) and Shannon. Great waitresses! Jennifer gave me a vitamin c boost packet thingy for the cold I was battling too so that was pretty«cool.» The atmosphere and energy was very inviting and relaxed. Nice big TV with sports on is a big plus! Lowlight: Food was so-so. Wasn’t blown away by the pizza I ordered. Crust was good I guess. Was better after I heated it up later on so yay to that.

Five stars for fantastic service — as in, outstanding — great beers and food. This was our second time there and everything has been amazng. The décor itself isn’t that special. The TVs have sports, there’s a bar and typical pictures of sponsored little league teams that are pushing 5 – 10 years old.(Maybe just a few, I wasn’t paying attention.) At any rate, the beer selection isn’t huge but has some great brews. The one that I want to marry and live with forever is a dark brown Butte Black Porter. It’s beautiful. Their flights are fairly priced and offer a good sample size. We’ve eaten the pizza dough bread knots and mozzarella sticks. The former is their staple appetizer and very tasty. The sticks… the sticks are OMG good. Like, go there, get a drink and the sticks. Their burgers and sandwiches are great. I’ve had a chicken sandwich and cheeseburger and tasted their meatball sub and a buffalo chicken sandwich. Next up will likely be their pizzas, which look great. Most of all is their outstanding service. Both time, all the staff and the two waitresses were chatty, friendly and happy to offer their input and suggestions. Not phoney TGI Fridays crap. Nor is it that nonsense where the server sits next to you to try to be your BFF. Anyway, they’re great. Definitely will be back and not soon enough! Thanks!
