I made my first purchase at RCwilley few weeks ago and with the terrible experience I had. it would be my last purchase. They decided to not deliver my couch on the day I was originally told it would be delivered and on top of that no one bothered to call me to tell my delivery date has been changed. After going back and forth I finally got my furniture, but I never expected this terrible experience from RCwilley.
What a terrible experience!

Loved the furniture selection and layout of the store. Didn’t think sales people were too pushy and I’ve been extremely happy with our salesman Brent. He actually suggested our dining set & I couldn’t be happier. We would definitely shop there again.

Recently I had a problem with the refrigerator I purchased from them and we had to return it. I went directly to the manager, Mo and he was very nice and worked very hard to find a solution to our problem. He went beyond the call of duty and we will continue to shop there because of his customer service. The new refrigerator is much better!

I have shopped with RC Willey for a lot of different items, and I have had both great and horrible experience. Hence I must break this review down by department.
Mattresses — RC Willey is the ONLY place I will recommend for this! Their delivery is excellent, prices are good, but most importantly is the warranty! If you by the bed cover you are set. I had my mattress start to wear out after 3 years, and they gave me a full refund to apply to another mattress (which I used and a bit more to get the upgrade)! I am having the same issue again, but I will definitely upgrade again!
Electronics — This part of the store is decent, but I have had some issues with their price matching (the sale person just wouldn’t do it).
Furniture — The sale team can be pushy or rude sometimes, but honestly just ask for someone else if they are. There are diamonds of sales people there, and you just have to find them. FYI, buy the warranties! I have yet to not make my money back and more.
Clearance — You get what you see, and often less!!! Prices back here are outstanding, but the staff is horrible, and you will often get played. We found two nightstands that had lights and lining underneath. With tested the lights in store, but when they were delivered they were missing the bulbs, and the drawer liners. RC Willey NEVER (after months of working with customer care) came through on replacing them despite repeated promises. They finally offered a refund, but we had bought the rest of the bedroom set, and so couldn’t abandon the night stands.
Final word,
This is a great store, and despite human failures of their staff I would go back. They could be better, but until I find a store with similar guarantees with competitive prices this is by far the best option.

!!! I have always entered contest and in my ummm 40 years. I’ve never won anything. Lo and behold I enter RC WILLEY New You sweepstakes and was contacted a month later that I had won. I was a bit suspicious and thought it was a scam, I was assured by Alan that indeed I was the winner of the 65inch Sony HD 4K android tv and… A pro form 7500 treadmill!!! I signed the affidavit payed 59.00 for delivery to Stockton and VOILA!!! Delivery guys set up my tv and assembled my treadmill and made sure I knew how to operate both before they left!!! Thank you RC WILLEY

Please do your research and buy from somewhere else.
We’ve experienced extremely deceptive business practices, especially when it comes to returns. Sometimes the reps will say whatever they need to, to make the sale (everyone is friendly though). Be careful.

I’ve purchased a lot of furniture from RC Willey over the years and I must say the quality has dropped tremendously. I purchased a table and it began chipping immediately. RC Willey agreed to replace it. However the item is made in Thailand and it has been over 2 months and I still don’t have a replacement table. This will be my last funiture purchase from this company. RC willey wanted to chase a buck and they skimped on quality. Not smart.

My wife and I just bought a new home we came to RC Willie yesterday and were quoted .50 a square foot on the flooring we wanted and free installation today they turned around today (not even 24 hours later) and told us that they were not going to honor that price and in fact the floor we want is now $ 2 a square foot that’s twice as much as any other company! We are going to Home Depot they honor the prices they quote and don’t try to screw you! Even going through a builder would be cheaper and that’s with installation! This place is absolutely the worst!

We purchased a rocker recliner from the Rocklin store, this chair in question has a couple defects.
We bought this on 9÷12÷15 delivered in 9÷12÷15.
Sense we have had it a few issues have developed, 1^st one of the arm chair cushions has broken down 2^nd the sit is gathering to the center of the chair.
I had call RCWilley about the issue they told me they would send out a service tech. from their company out to evaluate! This tech. Took pictures and said that they would call and let me know what his suggestion would be.
Aprox. 1 week after they came out a customer service rep. called and said that they would like to send out a second party to evaluate this issue .He also took pictures of the chair, and told me that it could be repaired but it would do the same thing.
I had mention to him if that’s the case I would like to choose another type of chair and he said he would relay the message.(this rocker recliner is 6 months old!)So after a week and a half I had to call customer service to find out what was going on with the processes on the chair? Customer service told me it was normal wear and tear! I am 62 and my wife is younger, so it’s us two. I had ask to speak to a mgr. Tyler and he told me the same!
I had ask for the corporate phone number and a name?
He told me Chad J. Would be my contact there.
I have left numerous messages and also with Adam Y. And haven’t heard from them! One person from customer service called me back on Friday afternoon and said he would pass on the message on Monday and today is Thursday and I haven’t had a return call! I called again today to be told that Chad was out for the week, then I ask to speak to Adam Y. Each and every time I call it goes to voice mail.
This chair has a warranty of 1yr. I would hate to see what it’s going to look like THEN.
And I have read on other Unilocal reviews that people have had issues with this
they must know and don’t care about customer service and possibly a DEFECTIVE product. and up most the
if you feel like throwing your hard earned money away I would suggest go to Thunder Valley Casino!
You just might have better luck!

Once again an issue with my items for pickup. This is the second time I have had to drive back down to the store because of either damaged or missing pieces. Still no apology or a offer to take care of the time and gas that it takes to get back and forth from being 45 minutes for the distribution center.

I’ve made two big purchases through RC Willey. First being October 2012, a couch & love seat $ 2900.00 and the other August 2014, bedroom set $ 2700. My love seat handle is malfunctioning so i decided to give them a phone call and see if they could have a technician come take a look and see whats going on. I was told unless my furniture is under warranty then they can not send a technician even though i’m willing to pay. In my opinion I think that is a huge LET DOWN to consumers. I’m appalled that they would even suggest «Getting on Unilocal and searching for a furniture repairmen!» I will absolutely never buy furniture here again now that I know I’m going to be thrown to the wolves if I have any problems with any of my purchases…
What a disappointment!

This has been a big hassle…
We went to RC Willey probably about a month ago and we picked out our new bed set. The salesman was super friendly and I have no complaints. He didn’t amazing job.
The delivery process wasn’t super great. We don’t wear shoe in our house. Per policy the delivery man said they cannot take off their shoes bc of liability issues. I understand that’s not up to them but I think this RC Willey should provide accommodations for the situation.
That night we started noticing all the bed set pieces except for the mirror has issues. Our dresser has a scratch on the velvet drawer lining. My nightstand couldn’t closed due to a broken guide. For the chest… the top draw guide was improperly installed and is damaging the drawer below due to guides not being leveled. My boyfriends night stand was a terrible wobble to it. The bed frame has a problem with the center supports bending under the bed. So we’ve had to remove our mattress off of the frame 3 times now to try and fix this. Come to find that they had never installed all of the screws into the slats. At the end of the bed frame there are two drawers. The drawer on the right side is perfect the drawer on the left was improperly installed. As I open the draw I can feel and hear it dragging. The only piece in this set that isn’t jack up is the mirror.
A few days pass… No call received. I call them on Monday. I talk to a guy. I told him what’s going on. He said he will replace the chest, the 2 nightstand, and fix the bed frame.. Mid way through the conversation I accidentally hung up on him. I called them back and spoke to Jennifer. I asked her if they can replace all the items on Thursday. She they could.
Thursday comes along… The deliverymen came. Apparently they were only here to pick up all the bed set pieces not to swap them out. In my opinion, I don’t think it’s practical for them to take all the furniture pieces and leave us with nothing. So we wouldn’t have a bed frame to sleep on and a dress/​chest to put our clothes in. In the end, they took the chest and the 2 nightstands, so all of my clothes are scattered on the other bed.
My boyfriend calls the distribution office after the deliverymen leaves. He spoke to Jennifer. She admitted that on the Monday after we had talked and arranged a pick up/​delivery date that she had found out they wouldn’t be able to fulfill our complete order do to all the items not being in stock. They were «debating» on calling us or not about the situation.
My boyfriend then called the corporate office to speak to corporate manager. At this point we think that everything is beyond ridiculous. We were connected back to Jennifer, which he then asked to speak to her supervisor. Brian was informed of the situation and what was going on. The only thing we got was «I’m sorry». I understand things happen and there are some things like the furniture being damage are not in their control. They do not make the furniture they just sell them. What gets me really upset is the complete lack of consideration for my time, convenience, and respect as a customer.
I really hope this company can step their game up in this situation to make things right. I’m at the point that «I’m sorry» is not going to cut it. The communication between this company to their consumers, or lack there of is unacceptable and must be addressed. I am truly disappointed in this company.

Got wonderful service in electronics from Nguyen. We’ve had great service from Cameron, and Diane is the BEST when it comes to getting you the bet appliances to meet your needs and budget. And… they are nice people, too!
Their prices are also competitive and usually the best. And, obviously, it’s far better than trudging around a warehouse or (Best Buy|Fry’s).
Great place to also just look around. And something about hanging out there on those 105-​degree Sacramento days.
Can’t recommend these guys enough.

The Husband and I have been to RC Willey more times than I can count. Everyone in his family gets their furniture from here, so we always find ourselves stopping by when we are in need of something.
With that being said, we can never find anything that we like here! Furniture wise. We have looked and looked and LOOKED but nothing seems to fit our style. For me it seems more of a mid to late 1990’s bulky style for older people than a younger couples’ more simple style. We have purchased a hutch here for our old kitchen, but so far out of all our trips, that has been it for furniture.
We did purchase a whole house full of carpet from RC Willey back when we purchased our first house in July 2012. The carpet was good quality and we were happy with it, but the installation, ordering of the carpet, and fixing installation problems were pretty much a disaster. We finally did get everything fixed and it worked out, but it put a bad taste in our mouths from coming back here and purchasing anything else.
We decided to give them another chance (since my Husband’s family is still in love with the store) and buy a washer and dryer from them yesterday because we didn’t want to purchase it from a «big box» store. Our sales guy Pete was very knowledgeable and helpful. He asked us a few questions and immediately showed us a washer and dryer that was in our price range that would suite our needs. It was perfect! We purchased the washer and dryer and set up the delivery for two weekends from now.
If I don’t come back to update my review you can assume that the washer and dryer installation went better than the carpet installation did. Fingers crossed!

Just stopped by to see what is it. I was impressed with the selection and some prices were great ! You can find here everything you need for your house. The clearance section is very big and prices are great. Staff is friendly. We bought a good table with 4 chairs for $ 280 while the original price was $ 480. Impressive deal. Highly recommend to visit it and check it out yourself.

RC Willey has basically furnished my entire home. I love this store and their great prices for quality products.
I’m an interior design student and I always recommend RC Willey to my friends. I love that it is a one stop shop. There is literally something for every room in the house. Love love love this store and will always purchase from there!!!

A strange shopping experience all around. Salesman was not knowledgable about the product, was only eager to make a sale. I’m referring only to the electronics department of the store. When the product I was looking for was sold out, he tried to sell me the next item up, a difference of about $ 60. When I asked him what the difference was, as to why one is more expensive, his answer was «it’s just better.» Really? He even gave me some incorrect information on the product, which I verified later with the department manager.
Store itself is set up beautifully, one star. However, I was not impressed with the other staff members came in contact with that day. Gal at register was pleasant, so another star is for her.
Pick up of merchandise at the back of the store was awkward and took a long time, considering there was only one customer in front of me. One customer also came in after me and was I was waiting in my car, I saw her merchandise be loaded into her truck. They had an issue finding the original box, as I had ended up purchasing the floor model. I totally understand that and was aware of this, but I was left just waiting, no communication as to status. I ended up having to go back into the store because I thought they forgot about me.
All in all, I don’t feel confident in my electronics purchase and only hope that the recipient of my gift will:) Throughout my purchasing experience, my ID was checked 3x… a bit much. I get it, it’s the holidays, but a bit much. I’ve purchased furniture here in the past, spent lots of money, but instead I feel like I was treated very suspect. Very unsettling.
Even though I like the store itself, I don’t care for the way I was treated. I will definitely look elsewhere first before returning to RC Willey. My advise is to train your employees on improved customer service skills. Without customers, no paychecks.

RC Wiley has a lot of selection and the prices are comparable with other similar stores.
Recently we have bought a TV, laptop, microwave and mini fridge. Pretty easy transactions. There is always a sales person around. probably too many because you can’t move around without a sales pitch. But its handy since I know what I want when I go in and it makes finding a rep easy.
In the past when we bought some furniture here they had an odd way of pricing things. We were looking at a coffee table and the price seemed really good. The tag stated piece one of two? We were wondering if it was a set. It was! You had to buy the top and bottom. We were reading the price for the stone top. If you wanted the legs it was more. Maybe they get a lot of people that mix and match the pieces but I did not care for the labeling. They may have moved away from this pricing method as I have not bought furniture in awhile.
The dock out back is run very well, Never had to wait very long. Sometimes you have to head about a mile away to their main distribution warehouse which is okay.
We have bought several things here and the items have been good quality and last well. I continue to shop here based on price and selection. The setup of the store could just be a bit better, kinda hard to navigate the small aisles when its crowded.

Cool place… Had to kill time before the movies so stopped in here for the first time.
I wasn’t in need of anything so I couldn’t really tell you if they had good discounts or not. This place is huge full of different furniture to electronic appliances…
On the display living rooms, they had a variety of movies playing which I thought was cool!
They have sooooo many employees working, reminded me of a car dealership because they constantly look at you and walk up to you seeing if u need assistance.
When the time comes, I would come back and recommend checking out if u need appliances or furniture.

We have only been here twice.
There will be no need for us to come back.
Why? We never seem to like anything they have in stock.
By the way, they have plenty of hungry sales people hanging around! Yikes it reminds me of car sales lots. If you know me, I don’t like going there!
