The is the worst residential group I have ever rented with. I lived in one of their properties called Las Fuentas in Santa Ana, CA for close to 7 years. First, let me start by saying that the apartment itself is not the place you want to stay with your family. There are hawkers knocking at your door regardless of the time of the day, kids playing all day long and their voice does not get lower, huge guest parking problem, hardly any lead time with potential maintenance, water shortages and the list gets worst. I exited this apartment first chance I got. I was forced to stay here for so long for personal reasons. Moreover, after being a responsible tenant for those years they charged me for the day of move-out. Which again, I am not surprised understanding how unprofessional they are. The apartment manager asked me to be there on the first of the month so she can take a physical walk with me of the apartment which never happened as usual because she was busy. I had turned in the keys before 9:00AM on the 1st as asked with a promise from the manager that I will not be charged for the day if I do so. But, then again, its how they run the place. They just have no regard for the tenants, referrals, or concern about future business. Also, the Riverside Group Management office people are trained to use sentences such as «Sir, you increasing your voice on me is not going to help», «do you have anything in writing»…I cannot be happier in my life now that I am out of there. Do your research! and think 10,000 times before you decide to rent with them. Check other websites as well… Good Luck!

Just wow… I am incredibly amazed by the incompetent manner with which these people run our apartments. They’ve recently taken over management of The Meadows I and The Meadows II and I will warn you all to stay away. We have lived in these complexes for over 2 and ½ years, but we’re getting out of here ASAP now. The management team in charge here clearly has no understanding or respect for CA state law. They issued us a notice for increase of rent 9 day prior to when it was supposed to take effect!!! Absolutely ridiculous! Any increase of rent requires(at least) 30 days notification. To top off everything else, we issued our 30 days notice to leave the apartments on the 21st of this month and, very happily, put in our application with other complexes in the area. Well, I’ve just received a call from one of those other apartments letting us know that the Riverstone managers at The Meadows DENY receiving our 30 days notice and refuse to give our rental history out. So in final, DON’T rent where they manage. The incompetence is astounding, frustrating and just plain negligent. If you happen to be stuck in one of their complexes, make certain you get every single agreement in writing, take down names, and ensure follow up on every agreement. These people will screw you…
