A Gem. Fantastic food at reasonable prices. After our first visit we were unable to be seated. No reservations available. We made a reservation for the following week. From that day on we have a standing reservation for once a week.

Wow. This is one place that I will miss when I move out of the area. The food is great, the atmosphere is amazing… and the service.WOW. The service is AMAZING. The guys look like they’re friends just having fun. Anyone who complains about this place is out of their mind, honestly. I recommend the fried chicken and the pesto fries. My mouth is watering just thinking about them. Anyways, I highly recommend the food here! Wish I could go tonight lol!

I love this place! They treat you like family and will recognize you the next time you come through the door. Everything here is amazing. The fried chicken comes with a bacon gravy you could put on a boot and I would eat it. Anyplace that encourages you to write on the bathroom walls is all right by me!

More than just a great restaurant. Our string duo, trio and string quartet has performed here for wedding ceremonies in the past to great success. This venue would also be suitable for corporate and private events. Recommended.

Lively with great food, this might be our favorite place since moving to Roseville. Service is informal, but very good. The food is fantastic and I wish I could have sampled more of the menu items as everything we tried was amazing. The duck confit spring rolls were crazy good. The meal was pricey, but it was excellent. Looking forward to visiting again. Also, book your seats. It takes weeks to get a decent time slot because seating is limited and the restaurant is busy.

Love the small venue, the staff is super super fun and very attentive, the ever changing menu is imaginative and always a fun surprise and I love that it’s seasonal. The wine list and beer list are very well rounded and mostly local!

A small place with bad seating– maybe if you’re so busy that you need to take reservations you should lease a larger place-duh! Food is good but portions are small and very overpriced!

Another incredible meal at The Chefs Table. If you can reserve a seat at the bar do it. Watching these creative and talented chefs do their thing is part of the experience that should not be missed. The Rib-eye was perfect. The fried chicken was juicy and tender. Ended the evening with the sinful and SO good bread pudding. Easy 5 star dining experience.

This place ROCKS. The staff is awesome — the core of which has been together a very long time and it shows in very good ways. The vibe is heavily influenced by the personality of the team that is very comfortable in there skin so what you get is a true authentic experience both in personality and product. The Chef’s Table doesn’t pretend to be anything other than what it is, there is nothing false about the food, wine list, tap selection or the music selection. It all comes from the heart and if you can’t handle the truth then don’t bother going to this independent restaurant that shows support for local ingredient, beer and wine sourcing. There should be more restaurants like this out there. I give the highest rating out of enthusiasm for the ‘everything’ that is the Chef’s Table and for the ‘everything’ that it is not; corporate, rigid, sterile etc. Thank you T.C.T. !

I am joining Unilocal so I can give a legit review on my favorite local restaurant in town. This place is hands down my favorite. Very cozy and personable. The staff here are just regular guys who are so chill and attentive, the food is amazing. I used to always get something different and it was always good… until I had the Fried Chicken and gravy. Omg. I can’t NOT have it. It tastes like its injected with buttery deliciousness. The chartreuse plate is wonderful too and that is how we start every meal there. Great restaurant!

This is one of my favorite places. Try the fried chicken, pesto fries, or pb&j burger. A tad pricey, but worth it. Good wines. Excellent food. Fun, hip, casual/nice atmosphere. Not quiet, in case you’re looking for that. Small to medium plate sizes and some unique foods. For dessert have a bacon brownie, sounds weird, but tastes awesome!

This place is absolutely amazing. I am United States Air Force and they gave me a free beer on entry. I was only out here on leave but I am from this local area, and they have very friendly chefs. I wish I could experience more of their food, but it is definitely costly, we easily spent 100 dollars in here on just the two of us, but it was worth it for the quality of the food. My favorite place in the Roseville/Rocklin area now, for sure. P. s. The wall in the bathroom is made of chalk and you can draw all over it! How dope is that?

The server/service was good, the food was tasty. We had a prime rib dip sandwich, pastrami sandwich and a pbj burger. The sandwiches(not counting burger) in my opinion were much smaller than i hoped for, and did not live up to the cost. I would say add fries or increase size. I may try the place out for dinner in the future. I would give 3 plus stars based on my first experience if i could, as 4 stars is a stretch.

Chance visit definitely worth coming back. We went tonight on the recommendation of a friend. It is a small place with the chef working right in front of you. We sat at the bar. If you don’t know what to get, sit at the bar. You’ll see something you want.

Food was outstanding!!! Got a pastrami and french dip sandwich. Got a brownie for dessert which was not the best I have had. The only thing about this place, was I felt like unless you were a regular, you dont matter much. Server was not very friendly. Maybe he was busy, or just not in the mood to make new regulars that day. The place is extremely small but i still loved it! I think they are expanding somewhat soon. Cant wait to go back to try some more food. I just hope the staff makes me feel a bit more welcome this time… even a genuine smile will do or perhaps a how are you today?

Stuffin’ before Thanksgiving. Yes please. My brother in law told me that this is his favorite restaurant. Him and his wife were all too excited to take us. We rushed out the door to make our reservation. Good thing because there are only about 10 tables or so in there. I have a feeling that the menu changes often so raving about any particular dish might be a lost point. I will say this though. Every dish that we got was well thought out, well seasoned and did not disappoint. Fortunately we had a large group and got to pig out on lots of appetizers first. The scallops, the green bean poutine, the pesto fries, and cheese board were all plated beautifully and had lots of great flavors. I was most impressed with the cheese board. Lots of delicious cheese and a great value. The entrees were also spectacular. The burger was juicy and well seasoned. That sauce on the steak was a perfect accompaniment to a well cooked steak. The veggie risotto was perfectly cooked and even made some good leftovers. Salmon had a nice sear with the right amount of doneness and seasoning. Finally dessert. We tried them all and loved them all. The service was also very knowledgeable and attentive. I was not left wanting. Not only is all the food spectacular, but it is a great value. We absolutely stuffed ourselves with tip for about 60 each. Not a bad showing. I’ll definitely be back if I’m in the area.

One of the coolest things about Chef’s Table is they genuinely care about their customers experience at their restaurant. They make you feel like you are a regular to them, even when it’s your first time there. 5 stars for service Today this restaurant changed the burger game. I came in with high expectations, and they blew it them of the water. I ordered the Fig and Brie burger and could not have been happier with what I got. Cooked to perfection, with a grilled bun, and brie perfectly melted(but not completely melted) made for a terrific lunch. With that said, don’t go there for a specific dish, as the menu does change, just go — because no matter what you order — it will be great. And plus, who wants a menu that’s always the same? 5 stars for food. The interior is cute and there is plenty of parking. I will warn you — definitely make reservations. It’s a smaller space but cute and great. 5 stars for location.

WOW. Amazing place. I’m sad and embarrassed it took us this long to eat here but it was well worth the wait. We had the peanut butter, grape jelly, siracha bacon cheeseburger. It was beyond words. Amazing. Try it once. You won’t regret it. We also had the fried chicken that was also delicious. Can’t wait to come back. Menu changes often. Creative geniuses here. Great job!

I only have positive things to say about this restaurant! Great service, delicious food and fun atmosphere. My boyfriend and I have been here twice now. Keep in mind you must make reservations in advance. We are always promptly and casually greeted when we walk in. It feels like you’re entering someone’s house. The restaurant is small, which again gives you the feeling like you’re at a large dinner party at a friends house. Very cool. For example, another customer had a birthday last night and the staff asked the entire restaurant to sing them happy birthday! So fun! We have been served by Gabe twice. He has been outstanding! He actually remembered us from the first time we went which made us feel appreciated as customers. He knows the menu inside out. You can tell he’s tried every item on the menu. The people who work at and own the restaurant genuinely seem to love what they are doing. It really enhances your experience. The food… Oh my god… definitely the best in the area. I can’t say enough. We’ve tried the pesto fries, pork chop, carnitas tacos, heirloom tomato caprese salad, corn off the cob, PB&J burger, bread pudding made with Krispy crème donuts and the German chocolate cake. Every dish has been mouth watering good. These chefs are truly artists. I’ve already made reservations to return in a couple of weeks with my parents. I promise that if you dine here you will not be disappointed!

This is, in my opinion, THE best restaurant in Rocklin or Roseville. To start, my boyfriend and I are *that* couple, we show up on a random weeknight, with no reservation. They still find a way to squeeze us in. Last night was no exception — we walked in at 7:40 and were seated within 10 minutes. We knew what we wanted to order, and our food was ready in about 15 minutes. Now that’s how it’s done. Every time I have been here, the food has been nothing short of amazing. In particular, I am a fan of their burgers. But their pork chop, their sirloin, their fried chicken… I could go on. Suffice to say, not a single dish has disappointed me here. Not only is the service quick and the food great, but these guys are extremely friendly and they know their stuff! It’s a lot of fun to watch them grilling and plating the meals. This is Rocklin’s hidden gem!
