We visited The Pizza Farm tonight for the first time. Over all, we were impressed. Our server was Maggie and she was AWESOME! She mentioned she was off her game due to a cold but we felt she was a phenomenal server! The food wasn’t quite what we expected it to be though. The pizza was lacking flavor, and the ribeye was less than par for the prices we paid. The highlight of our night was the homemade blackberry cobbler and ice cream; We gobbled that up!

We celebrated my dad’s birthday here last Saturday. Service was top notch! A very large restaurant to accommodate the crazy crowd that was awaiting tables. Personally I didn’t care for my order, but everyone else seemed to enjoy theirs. I had a house salad and the house pizza

Great place and people but don’t exactly live up to their name of pizza. Anything else is pretty good.

Love the pizza farm. They are rural yes but good food. The steaks are really good and so is most of the food and pizza. No complaints here. And someone mentioned salads and homemade dressing which I agree are very good. Hours suck but it’s a neat little place

The Pizza Farm is indeed a rural«hole in the wall» restaurant as mentioned by DeAnna S. That’s not at all a slam in my view and just makes her look pretty«citified» in my opinion. This is not a chain, nor is it «trendy or hip». What it IS actually is a family run and long term success story. I think the name actually kind of pigeon holes the restaurant and doesn’t get across that they have everything including steaks and seafood here. What really sets this place apart from most is the staff. My wife and I have been regulars here for about 15 years and we’ve seen the same faces over and over again. They are friendly, regular folks who have good days and bad days like we all do, but they work hard and have always been wonderful to us. We are on a first name basis with several of them and this place just feels like home to my wife and I. My favorite thing here is the baked fish — done«the old way». Just say it like that and they’ll know what you mean. The new way isn’t bad… I just like the old way. Anyway — this place has never pretended to be anything but country. It’s decorated with thing’s from Georgia’s rural past and they don’t try to be something they aren’t. There’s even a friendly little dog that hangs around the front door that has a tag around it’s neck that says«Pizza Farm Dog». That is one well fed dog let me tell you so don’t feel bad if you don’t want to toss him scraps out of your take home box. :) To sum it up — if you like good food cooked by down to earth people in a rural«hole in the wall» setting — this place is for you. If you like trendy places with girls in slinky dresses and loud music… you might want to pass.

Drove out to Pizza Farm, and thought it would be a good idea to have pizza. Lovely place, great atmosphere, nice servers, TERRIBLEPIZZA. It is basically a bunch of frozen ingredients, put on top of a pre-made frozen crust. If you have ever tasted the onions, mushrooms, green peppers, etc, from a frozen pizza«before it is cooked» you will know the taste of them on their pizza. The pepperoni looked good, but was also like the thick cut dried out pepperoni on a frozen pizza. The sausage and ground beef was in those little balls and obviously came frozen from a bag too. The cheese and sauce were not bad, but the cardboard like crust was not really edible. Worst pizza I have ever had… including frozen pizzas like Tombstone or Red Baron. They must have other items that are good, or they could not have stayed open for 40+ years. I will not be finding out though. If you name your Joint«Pizza Farm», why would you not try to make decent pizza?

Rural family owned hole in the wall restaurants is my thing. After living in Rockmart for 4 months, I admit I got tired of being asked«have you been to pizza farm yet?!» I’ve seen the signs on the side of 278 for years and down by Coots lake but I didn’t really know where it was and thought it was gonna be some greasy gas station style pizza. Boy I couldn’t have been more wrong. I’ve been told(now that’s a reliable source huh?) that this place has been around since at least the 1960s and has been added onto several times. The parking lot is TINY and VERY crowded. You see cars from all over GA in the parking lot(and by parking lot I mean parking lot, ditch, grass, sides of the road. COMEEARLY!) They also have some dogs that hang around. I don’t know if they belong to the family or if they’re just hungry dogs that hang out waiting on leftovers from people with to go boxes that can’t say no to a fuzzy face. Either way, if you’re afraid of or even allergic to dogs, don’t worry. They won’t pay you no mind if you don’t pay them any. They seem very well socialized to the busy climate at the front door. Inside it’s. well a «country restaurant.» Think sorta home grown cracker barrel except not a bunch of junk thats for sale. The waiting area is good sized, you put your name in, sit down, and they call it out. They don’t have little buzzers that I could see. This could be a problem during noisy peak hours, so. maybe put in a really goofy name? The menu is MORETHANPIZZA. I can’t stress this enough. THISISN’T JUST A PIZZAPLACE. If you don’t like pizza or even THEIR pizza, you’re ok! They have a full menu of fish, shrimp, hamburgers, steaks, chicken, and all the southern fixins(well I didn’t check for mac n cheese. but I know they have fried green tomatoes and fried dill pickles!) Since there were 5 of us, we all had something different. so I got to taste a little bit of everything.(except the pizza, but I smelled it and saw someone else eating it and it looked good to me!) So here ya go: Chicken strips: YUM! 4 strips, you might need to trim em a bit yourself if you dont like skin hanging off one side, but that’s no different than zaxbys. Any time you find hand breaded chicken you’re gonna run into this problem(if you consider it a problem.) Shrimp: Looks great! I admit I only had one and it was just fine with me, but by then I was fulla chicken. Hamburger Steak: Eehhhh. I’m not gonna shout this one from the rooftops. It’s HUGE but its mediocre. I think I can make a better burger. Maybe toss in some grilled onions, then you’re probably golden. Salad: Ask for cheese! They use the pizza cheese and it tastes great on the sald. It’s HUGE and the ranch is delicious! Fried Green Tomatoes: Well, ok you know how a funnel cake tastes? Picture that as batter. Hey now! Don’t go «eugh» at me! Try it! Just. get it as a side first to see what ya think. Baked potato: Perfect! Huge, flavorful, cooked all the way through. Hushpuppies: Sadly disappointing store bought prefab blah. Probably ok with some ketchup but I’m sorry, I was unimpressed. Bread: All you can eat dinner rolls with cinnamon butter. I don’t like cinnamon butter but I DO like rolls. They were tasty! Service: Friendly, slow, but that wasn’t her fault. We had 2 giant families come in right before us and get their orders in. The kitchen was backed up. Took us about 30 minutes+ to get our party of 5’s food, but I do not believe this is normally the case. Price: for 3 of our 5 to have good meals, about $ 47. Not bad, a bit more than average but I’ve paid more for a meal for us. so I’m ok with it. Yall give it a try! I know you see a lot of people on here saying«I drove past 5000 papa johns for this??» but this place isn’t just about pizza, AND its family owned, thats worth some points on it’s own. There’s something for everyone, and if you don’t like what you got, you can get somethin else next time!

Really don’t know what all these other folks are whining about. The Pizza here is very good but I did not do a lab check to see if it was frozen or not. Really? Get real. The steaks are very good with a big baked potato. I and all my family and friends have ate hear for many years and always keep coming back. It’s just that good.

We having been coming here for the past 16 years. We came Friday night for my mom’s birthday and we were so unhappy. Food took forever and drinks were not right. We had to ask for our rolls… I asked them to hold the cake I had to go find it… server was nowhere. We sat at that table for 2 hours and it was not because we were chatting… very disappointed with pizza farm.

First of all, this is a rural, «hole in the wall» restaurant and expectations weren’t high to begin with. I came here for a family member’s birthday dinner one Sunday evening. The food is obviously frozen food anyone could purchase from a store. There is nothing special about the dishes served here. Basically you are paying a high price for someone to prepare food and serve it to you when you could have just made it at home yourself. On the other hand, Rockmart is a really small town and restaurant selection is very limited. Relatively speaking, this may be one of the better choices if you find yourself starving in Rockmart.

Went here a couple of days ago with my family. First time we’d been here in years, as it’s a long way from home. The food overall was very good. Ironically their pizza is not the best, but it’s not bad, I’d give it a 7⁄10. We got the fried green tomatoes and cheese fries and both were amazingly good! And their breadbasket is phenomenal! You get yeast rolls and cheese biscuits in the bread basket and what looked like homemade butter. They make their own salad dressing in house, we had some ranch, and it’s awesome! I don’t understand any negative reviews of this place. The wait staff was nice and the food was very good. They’ve been in business for 42 years and they were packed when we went, that says something to me.

We have been going to Pizza Farm for some 25 years on a pretty regular basis. I honestly wish they would change their name as «Pizza Farm» would seem to indicate that it’s all about the Pizza and it will be fantastic. I have always found their Pizza as only average at best. I STRONGLY recommend you focus on their appetizers, salads, salad dressings, steaks & chicken and their desserts. My favorites are their potatoe skins, blue cheese dressing, filet mignon and the best homemade strawberry icecream ever(however it is seasonal so not always on the menu). We have taken many people there for the first time and without exception, I always say«don’t get the pizza focus on the rest of their menu» and everyone we have taken there has made Pizza Farm one of their favorite restaurant trips! I think the reason their parking lot is full and there is always a wait and that it has been around over 30 years is… they too know… it’s not all about the pizza! :)

Pizza is not their best. Service was good and décor was interesting. Food in general was not worth the wait and would not visit again unless I was with Friends that had to go.

Pizza Farm… funny, huh? We went… out in the middle of farm land… long haul towards Rockmart from Cartersville… and the place was packed. Food is ok… fairly expensive for such a rural location. I have to say I wasn’t all that impressed. More power to them if they can get it but there are far better places to go for Pizza or Steaks. A one off place like this should be excellent, but this one is just ok. Doesn’t get my vote for a return anytime soon.

Pizza Farm is a solid staple for my family. We don’t go a lot because, if it is open, it is always packed! The pizza is good, the salad dressings are homemade, and the wait staff is hardworking and friendly. However, it is off the beaten path and you have to know where you’re going. It’s sort of like Rockmart’s best kept secret. It’s not my favorite but I like it a lot and would be satisfied if someone said, «Hey, let’s go to Pizza Farm.» Just be prepared to wait for a table and don’t accidentally go on a night they’re not open!(That’s not fun at all.)

My family and I decided to try this place after reading these reviews — yikes! Wish I hadn’t spent the money, the pizza(1 cheese and 1 with everything) tasted like it was frozen with just extra toppings added for about $ 30. I wish we had spent the money on Mellow Mushroom instead, now that’s good pizza. Sorry Pizza Farm, we won’t be back and our extended family that lives out by you won’t be there either.

The Pizza Farm is a rural restaurant that’s worth the drive. It is always busy, so count on a wait. Once your at the table prepare for a treat. Obviously the cuisine is Italian, but notably Americanized. Forget Sysco, their salads feature homemade dressings and the French is particularly delicious.

Not your average Pizza place Really great pizza. Great service from a hard working staff. If you don’t want to wait for a table get there before 5:15PM or just before closing. Otherwise bring a book. This place is always full! open Thursday through Sunday evenings. I have been told that although they do not take reservations, you can call ahead to get your name on the waiting list. I just go early, but you might give it a try.
