Service was great! Great prices and smiling people. Not to mention great small town feel!

Cool little place. Nice on the inside. There is an outside seating area for pedestrians/​bike riders from the Silver Comet Trail. Food is mediocre at best.

Pizza was doughy and cheesy. I like, but nothing special.
Same for ice cream.

Service can be hit or miss. Not sure anyone is really excited to have you there or not. But the grilled chicken is one of the BEST sandwiches I have ever had. Fries are not great. Running wild sauce is good. Beware though there are only about 6 flavors of ice cream and often theybrun out of yogurt. Location is superb and the place is very nice.

After doing research about the trail and reading countless reviews to prepare for our journey, our plan was to eat at Frankie’s Italian restaurant. Unfortunately they had weird operating hours the day we stopped by and were closed when we arrived after 38 miles on the trail. A few locals we met near the trail suggested The Rock and well… we were hungry!
THE EXPERIENCE
Our server was absolutely darling, and the rest of the staff as well. They are very welcoming and have the cutest southern twang to their speech. Prices were reasonable and the kids enjoyed their home made cheese pizza. I had a chicken salad sandwich that was waaaaay too sweet and far too little chicken. The fries were over seasoned and left me little reason to continue eating them. If I were a betting man, I would say I would’ve had better luck with the polish sausage & peppers.
THE VERDICT
Despite my lack of enjoyment for the chicken salad sandwich & fries, I would like to give them another try on our next ride through Rockmart. Friendly service like that is ALWAYS worthy of a second chance.
