Denny’s

I have not been to Denny’s in about 20 years… now I remember why.
Food was OK.
Our waitress was good, they were busy when we went but not outrageously busy.
Now the manager (or maybe he was just the manager of the day) on the other hand is a king size jerk. First of all we could hear him being a jerk to his staff. I felt bad for those poor waitresses having to deal with him. When our waitress brought over out check she said «if you don’t have any other discounts tell the girl cashing you out to give you the 2.40 discount». I thought, meh, whatever it’s 2.40 I dont really care but then I figured what the heck I would mention it. Of course just as I go to the cashier, she leaves and Manager jerk takes my check. So I said to him, «our waitress said there was some 2.40 discount that we could get» and he looks at me like I have 2 heads. I said «do you know anything about that» and he says «no I don’t but I’ll give it to you anyway» then he starts ringing me up and he looks at me again with a dopey look on his face and says «are you military or something» so I said «no, look if it’s a big deal then don’t worry about it, I don’t really care a about the 2.40» so he finished ringing me up and does not give me the discount. Again… not a big deal but the guy was a big enough jerk to warrant this review. So… in summary… I would definitely NEVER return to this particular Denny’s and I most likely would not go to another one.
