My wife and I stayed at the Lantana House last summer and had a great time! Conveniently tucked just outside of the quaint seaside village of Bearskin Neck, the shops and galleries are a vacationers delight. Everything was within walking distance. Our third floor suite was surprisingly roomy and comfortable. And, the breakfast was delicious — hot coffee, juice, fresh fruit, cereal, toast, muffins and Richards homemade cinnamon buns! Richard and Tracey are very friendly and made us feel at home.

We stayed here this fall. The location is perfect You can walk to the shops and galleries, and to Bearskin neck and the performance center. The house is very antique with a nice collection of antiques decorating the rooms and common areas. We had a comfortable bed, small but quaint bathroom, two nice chairs to watch tv or read and a dresser. There was a clock and plenty of lamps. No hairdryer, be forewarned. Breakfast was charming with wonderful mixed plates and cups etc. There were coffee cake and cinnamon rolls, cereals, toast, bagels and english muffins. The coffee was good and both milk and cream were available. Butter and jams for the toasts. And a plate of cheese and fruit. There are two porches for relaxing. The on site parking alone is worth the price in Rockport.

Stayed here for a couple of nights and it was a very nice bed and breakfast. The place was beautiful and the owners were friendly. I stayed at one of the king rooms and my friend stayed at the queen room, and I did think that his room was better. The service was also very good. Breakfast is only served for an hour and half and to my surprise it wasn’t just coffee and stale doughnuts. Not only did they have goodcoffee and orange juice, they had english muffins and homemade raspeberry/cinnamon cake which was excellent. The jam was also homemade. The sitting area for breakfast was very cozy.
