This stand is the high point of my annual trip to Rockport. I stop here at least half a dozen times. I love this place. You can’t get better corn or peaches anywhere. The berry pie is out of this world and so are all of the breads. High quality fruits and vegetables for reasonable prices. You won’t be disappointed.

They have some good seasonal fruits and vegetables. And kinda quaint. However, the non-eye contact making proprietor overcharged on fruit knowing well in advance the marked price. Probably thought I was a road tourist and that I probably wouldn’t come back to argue the upcharge. Wrong. That’s exactly what’s going to happen. I’m not going back to this farm stand ever. Honesty is a BIG aspect of doing business. Quaint and quirky is fine — just don’t think people overlook charging extra vs. your stated price. Better off going to Marshall’s where the entire family of very nice adults and teenage kids work to provide good product and services.

As you drive to the center of Rockport, there is a small farm stand on your left. The stand carries a great selection of local produce ranging from apples, pears, corn, squash to tomatoes. There are pies and something called monkey bread. The other people whom happen to be when I have stopped by are all regulars. Everyone talks fondly of the owner. The stand is open from 10am to 6pm week days. Right now there is a selection of the traditional fall items of gourds and pumkins and indian corn.
