I tried this market the first time at New Year’s and the standing roast was the best quality of beef I have had a very long time.
Trying again for Easter so I hope the consistency is there!

As a new member of the community, I like to support local small-​businesses when possible. I’m on the fence about this place. The store is clean and the owner is very friendly. The problem here is that it is all about the MEAT.
It is hit and miss for me. The strip steaks were tender and full of flavor. One of the two porterhouse steaks I bought was full of gristle. The two pound sirloin I got yesterday looked beautiful in the window. Unfortunately, it was so tough that we could not eat it. I’m going to take it back today and give them a chance to redeem themselves. Let’s hope for the best.
