If you are traveling through southern Spencer County, take a chance and stop by the Rockport Inn/Mckenzie’s Bar. The bar is connected to the Inn and you can eat in either the dining room of the inn or in the bar. The Inn is usually less busy and quiet.
The service here has always been excellent. They have daily specials and on Wed night they donate a portion of your bill to the charity of your choice. The Inn is always decorated for the season and pictures of the family that owns the Inn also are displayed.
Their selection of food is pretty standard and is made well. They have a variety of apps, salads, sandwiches and dinner plates available all at reasonable prices.
