Sweet Remembrances

I was really disappointed with this place. I felt the staff were rude, including one talking on her cell phone while dressing us and telling us they closed at 7, when they didn’t close until 8 it turns out.
They rushed us in and out. The most basic photo cost close to $ 35 dollars. And she only took six pictures. I asked if we could take more if or change props and she said no. Later I was told we could have had up to ten pics taken. I was really frustrated and disappointed with the customer service more than anything else. I come here every summer and will not be going back.
I know they are just two young girls, but I wish the manager would train them a little more when people are spending $ 35.

we had lots of fun here. taken by surprise walking past this place on a day trip to rockport. my fiancé and I got some awesome shots in silly costumes and had a good laugh for the half hour or so we were there with the fun and friendly staff. we totally love the pictures we got. was happy to pay for the digital copies (a bit more expensive than just a print out) as we will have this memory for a long time and it captured us at a really special time in our life. Fun!

Hey fellow Unilocalers! I used to work at this place in high school, and yes I was also a customer many times. hehe. I always had a great time at work because the customers and my coworkers and boss were all super nice and happy. I learned a lot from them while I was there.
Eric and his family have owned the business since the early 80s (I think), but another person took it over for a short time a few years ago. I saw the bad review below and I think it was probably during that time because I can’t imagine Eric or his family being rude. They are some of the nicest people I know!
I’ve seen many happy customers at Sweet Remembrances while I was an employee and also just walking by and saying hello whenever I’m home visiting my family in Rockport. If you go here, please write a review. I’d love to see them get the credit they deserve!

Love love love this place! The staff were very helpful and polite. They managed to get and hold the attention of my 3 year old son, which is quite a feat! I think the quality of the photography, along with the actual photos and frames were excellent. I would have gladly paid more for this experience!

The person managing the shop was incredibly rude! Intrigued by the shop, my friend and I walked in and asked if we could get a photo taken. They have a really strange pricing scheme. They charge a sitting fee in addition to a fee for the photographs. Avoid this place!
