Bring snacks (lunch would be a better idea) and something to do. When I went for my second appointment they were «running behind» by almost 2 hours. I did learn that they will offer you a snack if you mention that you have not had breakfast, and on the way out will give you a $ 5 gift card if you do not complain that it’s now 1:30 (appointment was for 10:30).
I would not give 1 star though just for being late. My reason for the review is that the doctor who referred me is not a doctor that I choose to return to. I had already transferred to another practice and gave them the information for the new practice. I was really unhappy to get a call from my previous doctor saying that there were serious concerns with my pregnancy (through the doctors at this office told me all was well and looked good) and I needed to be seen immediately. Why was anything sent to him from this office? I made it clear to both doctors, the desk staff and in all paperwork who the new practice was and that I didn’t want anything released elsewhere. It also took 2 weeks and multiple phone calls for the new practice to get my report. Frustrating.
The doctor ordered additional testing, just because. She said there was no reason to think that anything was wrong, everything looked perfect and healthy, but that all babies should have additional testing so mine should too. I should mention that at 24 weeks I had already had 2 genetic tests, 5 ultrasounds and 9 check ups and everything came back perfectly healthy. I just can’t afford to spend this kind of money on unnecessary testing and when I mentioned this she gave me a sob story about having to pay out of pocket for a surgery her husband had, so I should not worry about what insurance covered or not and just do the testing. Sorry… not the same, and not going back. My new practice also agreed after reviewing all of my records that the testing was unnecessary and encouraged me to cancel the appointment.
They do have a really nice waiting room. Makes you think of how many people had unnecessary testing done to pay for it all though! And with the time they make you wait…

This place is outstanding! Front desk staff could NOT get any nicer, seriously. Billing was so easy with them, paperwork was easy. Their reading selections are lovely and how I adore adore adore their interior design, the paintings are so beautiful and the huge fancy fish tank is so relaxing. They even have a reading corner with books and benches for little ones. The woman that I discussed the DNA testing and all was super informative and kind (pretty young gal). Now the cost of the DNA stuff is pricey but I guess there’s more to blame on my insurance than them. Did you know you can have a blood test super early on now for the sex of your baby? Pretty awesome and I should have done that!

Doctor are great and the facilities are kept very clean. The staff is friendly and caring. I know, sounds like a great review so far, but this office is terrible with time. Every appointment we have had here, and we have had many, is always running late. And by late I do not mean 20mins late, but over an hour late. If you plan to pay this office a visit, cancel all plans for the rest of the day, because who knows when you will get out!!!
