Papillon Medi Spa

I had mircrodermabrasion with Michelle and it was amazing–
She’s a nurse and very skilled and knowledgeable about skin issues. She was able to quickly diagnose me and offered me a variety of treatment options.
The best part about the microderm was that they were running a special– $ 49 for one session, or $ 99 for 3. At other places, each session usually runs about $ 125.
I got it done a week ago and was looking at my skin in my unforgiving 10x magnifying mirror and my scars are smoothed down and barely noticeable– after just one session!
I’ll definitely be back!

I love Papillon for all the reasons I strive to stay youthful.
A very lovely Spa right off of 270 Montrose Rd exit. Michelle is an amazing nurse who does exceptional dermabrasion, glycolic peels, Botox, fillers, etc… over seen by some of this areas top Plastic surgeons. (like Dr. Barry Cohen).
The spa is gorgeous inside and looks like you are walking into a Beverly Hills establishment.
I have not had all of the mentioned procedures but have tagged along with friends who have and seen many years disappear once Michelle is done with her treatments. Plus, you would never guess I am about to turn 88 next month would you. HA HA, just kidding. I go more for sun damage and upkeep. But I do know a few people who literally look 10 years younger after 30 minutes at Papillon. BTW the name in this case says it all… Papillon means Butterfly in French so if you want to grow your beautiful wings and be as gorgeous as possible this is the ONLY place to go!

I met the RN at Papillon, Michelle McGuire, at a beauty event at Dr. Cohen’s office. She was very attentive to my unique skin issues and suggested a couple courses of action to help resolve them. I now go to her for Vi Peels and plan to go for microderms as well. Her hours of availability are very accomodating and I appreciate the time she takes to thoroughly answer all of my questions.

Got a microdermabrasion from Dr. Barry Cohen at the Papillon Medi Spa.
The office itself is very upscale and nice. Check in was quick. Dr. Cohen is a very established and recognized (demonstrated by his quite LENGTHY credentials) plastic surgeon. The microderm was quick and painless.
The only thing I did not like was that Dr. Cohen seemed hurried. I’m sure a microderm is very low on his attention list, being a seasoned plastic surgeon, but I was in and out of his office in about 10 minutes. This was my first time getting a microderm so I did have some questions, which he answered sufficiently, but he did not seem to show much interest in anything else at all. He did, however, give me good and honest advice about a particular service I inquired about. He also gave me a copy of his book «Total Rejuvenation».
The microderm itself, I loved. My skin felt so soft and fresh afterwards.

i took a half day from work to treat myself and guess what i found? ever wonder how the ladies-​who-​lunch stay fresh and fabu? papillon medi spa. what a gem! the spa operates under the careful eyes of three of DC’s top plastic surgeons (ranked by the washingtonian). and it shows. the staff is super nice, responsive, and pampering. advising me against the fancy schmancy pricey laser facials, peels, etc., instead the spa recommended a personalized 4-​step daily skincare regimen.
i love when a spa has my skin at heart, not my wallet.
been there twice so far, and same excellent service each time.
