Beef for the Fajiatas was tender and full of flavor. The Pupusa’s are some of the best I’ve had. The place has a steady stream of regulars but is hidden in a tiny strip of stores somewhere behind Rockville Metro.

Horrible. Not customer friendly, customer service is horrible. I order the same thing each time I go and the price was always different. I will never return after the service insulted another customers race after they had an issue with the order. I would recommend anywhere except here

If you’re like me, and you live on the corner of awesome and savvy, you know the short cut from the back of the Rockville Metro to the other side of Rockville(East Gude Territory). Well, I like to spread the awesomeness so let me tell you it. You take a left on Park where the road curves behind the metro at that light — it turns into North Horners and you take a right onto Southlawn. Now you can be a part of the cool kids club. Get on your Air Jordans and join me at the Polleria Tres Amigos(translation: Chicken-store three friends). This is a little hole in the wall place in a shopping center with ample bright signage. Having trouble finding it? It’s next to a pizza palace in a shopping center that has 3 – 4 shops. I wouldn’t say it’s in the«nicest» neighborhood that’s ever been, but this part of Rockville has greatly improved over the past 10 years or so. I ordered the Tamale de Elote(Tamale of corn), Tamale de Pollo, Baleada(essentially a taco with refried beans, eggs, and cheese), and a cheese papusa. The tamale de elote was amazing. Perfect texture, had some denseness and body to it, and was perfectly married with sour cream. The chicken tamale was tamalatastic! This was probably my favorite thing. It was perfect tamale texture and filled with great chicken and a delicious salsa. I could have ate a pack of tamales(a designation I have now formed for tamales). I’m not sure how many tamales are in a tamale pack– but it is definitely more than two. The baleada was a little disappointing. It just didn’t seem as fresh as the rest of what I got. I decided to forgo chicken this time — that’s for next time. The papusa… well, I’ve had better with better slaw and better papusas. It really didn’t have that nice crisp char that is desired on all papusas. But the freakin’ tamales were so good — that’s why I give this place 4 stars. I really rate it right now at 3.5– I’m gonna go back and dive into their chicken and update all you thirsty bras! BTW, have you guys heard people use the term«thirsty» as slang… Urban Dictionary: «1. Too eager to get something(especially play) 2. Desperate.» Yeah… it just doesn’t sound right –I agree.
