Subway

This place closes way too early in the evening — 8 PM! On top of that, the staff is not very friendly, and rather stingy on the vegetables. Definitely not a place that I plan on visiting again.

This subway is unpalatable. My friend and I both felt ill after eating two different subs here. There is a lack of cleanliness and the ingredients are not fresh. Stale-​tasting bread at 6pm. Less than pleasant staff. No matter what coupon you have or how hungry you are, I’d steer clear.

My first time here… they did a great job making my sub. No nonsense, no riff raff. They kid who made my sub was professional and competent. Go go go!

My only complaint about this place is the servers are too stingy on vegetables. Even when I asked for more they add a pinch. Vegetables are good for everyone. We just happened to be in the area and it’s our first time at this place. It will be our last too. I do not recommend this place.

Who knew buying your own style of sandwich would be so difficult. This morning before work, I was craving a sandwich full of veggies. I forgot that for my third time coming to THIS subway, they disappoint me. The lady (who I believe is the manager there) would ask me «what toppings would I like?» So I replied all the ones I normally pick out. when we started with the lettuce. I saw only 4 strands of lettuce! Lol
You gotta be kidding me. So I knew where this was going. I had to request more 4x’s! So after my repeated request, I finally got a decent amount to have something to eat. It was finally time to pay, the Latina lady who seemed annoyed range my meal up and surprisingly didn’t offer a meal or drink? I wanted to get something else but after all of this, «ain’t nobody got time for that!» So I paid and left.
Never again. New staff or coach them better.

I frequent this location only because I live in the building and it is convenient to me. I like Subway but this is by far the worst location I have ever been to. The staff is rude, on one visit they neglected to tell me that a I could get the same sub in a footlong for 25 cents more. When I realized it and tried to change it to a footlong they refused. It was not until we demanded to speak to the owner that it got changed. Why did we ask to speak to the owner? Because the employee proceeded to insult us to a coworker in Spanish. She was quite shocked when she realized we spoke Spanish after we confronted her about her comments in Spanish.
What makes it terrible is not just the service though, the food is subpar. The flatbread is often hard, the chicken tastes old and funny, lettuce is often old. When I go to this location I cannot order my usual sandwiches because everytime I’ve had them here they taste awful so I try to stay away from their chicken.

They refused to honor the November promotion of «buy one 6″ sub get one free before 9am». They have signs in the store advertising it, but when I went there at 8:30am, ordered 2 6inch regular subs, they refused to honor the «one free» and made me pay for both. False advertising!

The staff are very RUDE! I was ording a vegetarian sub and they refused to put more than 4 tomatoes on the sub. I am avoiding this location!

Your standard Subway sandwich chain. It’s nice to be able to get off the Metro later in the evening and grab a sandwich for the walk home. I walked in a few nights ago at 9:59 pm – they close at 10 pm – and they made me a sandwich without grumbling.

All the federal employees and contractors in the Twinbrook area rejoice!!! We now have options besides the cafeterias and Lighthouse Tofu!
This place is next to the Alaire (luxury apt) and just opened (⁷⁄₂₀₁₀). Let’s support it so it doesn’t go out of business. We need options around the area!!!
