If I could give Lisa at Affinity Salon zero stars I would. Reason being is that I received, by far, the worst haircut in my 42 years from her this last Saturday. She is one of those stylists that doesn’t listen to her clients. She not only cut my hair much shorter than I asked her to, but she wouldn’t stop cutting it when I told her, as she hacked away on my head, that she was cutting too much, creating too many layers and wasn’t honoring my requests. Despite the fact that she did a wonderful job with my color, I will never again return to her salon chair. She ruined my long, thick beautiful head of hair and I am sickened by the fact that I have to live with this butchered hair job for months to come while my hair grows out!!!

Soooo Overpriced! Lisa(owner) colored my hair and it was horrible… it did nothing to remove the gray hairs. I had to go home and do it myself… which was Way better than what she did. She left me a few times while she was attending to her other clients. I felt like she hurried through the session. I spent $ 130 here… haircut was just a measly trim that came at a price tag of $ 45(and she told me that was her special price)…super cuts could have done the same thing. Again, the hair color was supposed to cover my grays… and nada! I did complain to Lisa, and she did ask me to go back in for her to re-do the session… But I didn’t want to go because I just felt so sick to my stomach when she told me the total was $ 130 for a crappy job. Wouldn’t recommend this place… at all.

I love getting facials at Affinity. I don’t know why they don’t have more stars on Unilocal

I initially loved the salon. The services are what you would expect. However, I did have an unfortunate experience whereby my personal contact info, as well as other clients, was given out to a vendor of the salon’s owner without my permission. I was then contacted by that vendor, and was not happy about how it transpired. After contacting the salon, I was assured by the owner that this was an honest mistake and not part of their normal practice. She assured me that steps have been taken to prevent this from happening in the future.

Made an appointment for color and highlights but realized Lisa was only doing highlight. She said she could fix it but I came out a blond. Payed way too much not to get what I wanted.

This was a really nice salon on the water in Rockwall. I decided to give it a try based on other Unilocaler’s reviews. I wasn’t impressed. My color was good… the cut was okay… but neither were really great. It was pretty expensive and I left feeling a little cheated. When I checked out at the salon, I was offered future compensation for a Unilocal review. I suddenly understood the positive reviews I read. It wasn’t a bad place but it wasn’t worth what I paid for it. I won’t go back. *****In response to Lisa’s comment below. I reviewed her salon in an honest, straightforward manner. For her to imply otherwise is silly. I did post a great review for another salon(which is now defunct) but am not aware anyone at that salon ever worked for Lisa. I guess they could have, though. At any rate, I simply wasn’t a satisfied customer but I wish Lisa much success at her new location!
