CONSUMER BEWARE — Project Cost $ 10,400 — Start Date December 17, 2015 — To date incomplete & damaged property — Complaint filed with Texas Attorney General Consumer Protection, BBB, Texas Government License & Regulation. James, a.k.a Raymond Elvis Link, is the owner of Restore Foundation Repair. The company has been paid in full. In addition to pictures of my damaged property and incomplete project, I have a chain of text messages exchanged between myself and the owner, which provides a clear timeline of what occurred, my dissatisfaction, his promises of a refund, as well as a complimentary fence staining and a constant apology for what had occurred and the promise he would fix it «perfect». James’ only concern during the entire experience was «please don’t post a bad review on HomeAdvisors,» the website I used to find contractors that services my area. One star is too many for this company and the owner. It’s has been an absolute disaster and truly heartbreaking to be dealt with so egregiously.
Status of Project:
1. Concrete torn up;
2. Drains incomplete;
3. Fence pickets not nailed to fence post, back of fence;
4. Fence door in front, shakes every time the door is opened, it was not properly installed or attached;
5. Fence door in back, was supposed to be an electric, sliding entrance, which was never complete. I was left with a door-​like contraption, nailed backwards to my fence and left;
6. Torn up concrete around fence post and left gapping/​jagging holes;
7. Sidewalk, where drain was partially installed, was left with no grate and torn up, jagged, cement;
8. Fence is not level and there are different spaces between pickets;
9. French Drain does not drain in front;
10. Drain in front of driveway was cut and grates were put in; however, the filler for the space between the concrete and grate was not installed;
11. Debris and unused concrete were left on my property.

Awful Experience! Basically the same as Marina A. We hired James (Raymond and Danielle Link) and crew back in November and he still hasn’t finished the work. We still have a sagging front entrance step as well as a sunroom that still needs to be lifted. They also left huge piles of concrete in two spots that we are going to have to remove. James and his «secretary» will promise to set a date and time to come back out but will never call back and then eventually just stop answering. We paid James in two payments-​one up front and then the rest I paid on the last day but before they were finished. HUGE mistake! Luckily half was made on a credit card so we are going to see if they can help us with this issue since services were not completed. Please do not use this man he is absolutely horrible to work with and doesn’t complete the job.
**This company navigates under tons of business names after I did research. True Level Foundation, Acme Foundation Repair, Repair Big State Foundation, Legacy Foundation, Town & Country Foundation, Aladdin Foundation, First Choice Foundation Repair and the list goes on. These people have been in Conroe, Spring, Humble, Plano, and Frisco etc. They just open up a new company name and continue their scams. They take your money and do not produce a good result. Stay far away from this company. They do not do quality work and will not fix what they have ruined.

I had the exact same problem as the message listed below. This company was suppose to install a French drain in April of 2015 when my family purchased our home. The drain never functioned correctly. The company and to come back and they did an even worse job the second time… note this company was used by the previous owner. The water has never drained correctly and the drains don’t even go to the street.
The owner has refused my to come back and fix his mistake. Initially he kept putting of days or promising to show up but never showing up. He finally stopped answering calls or emails.
I’ve noticed his address has changed from Dallas to Plano to Rockwall now but Preston Rd remains the same. The only positive from this ordeal is I now use Angie’s List, Unilocal,BBB and research every «contractor» Bonded, insured and a ton of references.

What a disgusting mess this guy is and his joke of a landscape contracting company. I paid ($ 2,000) good money for a very simple job. Remove or re-​use an existing French drain on the east side of my house and re-​connect all the downspouts and run the water out to the sidewalk. What I got was a mess of incompetence and uncaring lies and supremely lousy service. Let me enumerate:
1. Two of the four downspouts promised to be connected were not connected.
2. The new drain (maybe it was new) was run at a crooked angle onto my neighbor’s property and stopped 15 feet short of it’s promised destination.
3, The ground was torn up and left un-​repaired, very unprofessional
4. Junk and spare parts were left lying around (Are you kidding me?) What a joke!
He took weeks to do this 6 hour job, lied about when he would be there, made promises he never kept and then he did the job described above.
Hey, I’m easy. I asked him to come fix it and that I needed an extra downspout attached, (another $ 400). After several more weeks and lies, etc. they showed up, tore up more yard, did a half-​assed job fixing the old problems, (still didn’t connect one downspout). So he promised to come fix that and repair the yard. Now it’s a month later and he has still not come.
If you use this company ever, then you will be stupider than I am. Please send him a message by never, ever considering this joke of a company to do any work anywhere near your house. Thank you!
