So worth the drive! We drove for an entire hour to get there and were so skeptical. Tucked back into a strip mall but packed to the brim with potential prom dresses. Current styles for sure and many samples. Lots of diversity in sizes and even somewhat modest options. Definitely all styles represented here. The support team was incredible. Irene(tiny bubbly expert) was such a blessing and infinitely patient. There was an alterations pro on-site to give us a better idea of how to make dresses work better for my petite but curvy daughter. No arrogance or attitude here. We were so grateful for this store!

This is my second favorite«go-to» resale clothing store for nice second hand clothes. Most of the sizes are Junior so take note of that if you see Small, Medium or Large. Of course you can usually tell if it’s Junior sizes if it comes in 5,7,9(odd) sizes. They also have a selection of new items as well and a huge selection of party and prom dresses. They have like 9 or 10 dressing rooms(compared to Plato’s Closet) so there’s usually a fitting room available, except during prom season. Only problem is only 2 room have a mirror. If you don’t get a changing room with a mirror you have to step outside to check yourself out.

Walking into this place is like walking into prom dress heaven. It’s like a badazzle paradise. :) little girls will love it. The men’s section is in the back. If you’re into Ed hardy or Affliction brand, then this is for you. High prices on new dress shirts I must say, Up to $ 75+ I saw in there! The Hispanic girl that helped us was very nice to me and my daughter, AKA my little thrift partner! ;) she gave us a good deal on the jewelry we bought. So overall this place was high-priced, and the parking out front was a little hectic.

AMAZINGSTORE! They always have designer items for AMAZING prices and in GREAT Condition, The staff and Owner are super friendly and greet you as soon as you walk in the store. If you haven’t shopped here I suggest you give them a vist and I’m sure you will walk out with a great deal!(:

I was on the hunt for a full length gown for Margarita Ball and had an excellent experience at Second Evolution! I had visited several other stores throughout Dallas and was beginning to feel discouraged and overwhelmed by my shopping experience. Irene at SE seemed to sense this and came over to help me figure out what style and fit I was looking for. I tried on both new and used dresses. Ultimately, I found the winning dress here and it was on the second hand rack, so I got it for a steal of a deal. Service was the best of any store I had been in throughout Dallas and Irene helped me visualize how all the dresses could look with an alteration here or there. Next time I’m on the hunt for a cocktail dress or ball gown, I’ll definitely be back here. Selection was great. Service was stellar. There’s something for every price point here.

If you’re in high school looking for a great prom dress this is the place. As for their second hand junk, it’s beyond junky. They turned down many of my barely used clothing items from Express, Bebe. I was shocked considering the crap on their shelves. They should change their name to Dress evolution. Super disappointed.

I was so pleased with the experience I had at Second Revolution! I can’t speak of the casual wear/selling of old clothing aspect of the store, but I can speak very highly of the formal wear aspect. Tonight, after weeks of searching at all of the mega-prom-stores(looking at you, Whatchamacallit), I was able to find the perfect dress for a very reasonable cost. While it doesn’t look like this store has as much inventory as the bigger formal wear stores, they do have a HUGE variety of style and sizes. This is great for me, because I was looking for a sort of toned-down prom dress in a size 14. If you’re an 18 year old girl, or the mother of one, you know how hard this can be in a world where neon bright dresses are more than plentiful. But I digress. Second revolution was great, not only because of the fact that their selection was much more diverse than I expected, but also because the person whom helped me, the owner of the store, was super kind and accommodating, even going so far as to help suggest some alteration ideas. I also really like the fact that they have a dress registry, so that no one from your school will be able to buy the dress that you have already purchased. Overall, I definitely recommend this place to someone whom is looking for a nice formal/prom dress. I will absolutely be back!

The concept is great for this store, but whoever they have buying the clothes really needs to be educated on what to buy. We went shopping there and they have what looks like thrift store clothing and shoes. They have a ton of prom dresses and very very used shoes. I brought in Marc Jacobs, BCBG, Armani etc and they didn’t accept those brands, but took cheap old navy clothes. This isn’t a place to find name brands or clothes that are in great condition. It’s basically an overpriced thrift store.
