We go there at least once a month mostly for the shrimp dinner. So big we share it maybe 3 ways, 7BIG shrimp each. But with a hamburger, they no longer give you the side dish with onions and peppers and pickles, so we go to Drinks on Allen road. Otherwise it would be 4 stars.

Just a quick review for now. Been in here a few times, never had a bad experience. The specials are great and have a normal weekly spit in the rotation, so you know what to expect when you go in. Today I had the taco special and a salad. Add in a diet soda and a tip and I was out the door for under $ 14. A bit more than I’d like for lunch, but that was with a generous tip for great service. They weren’t super busy, but had between five and ten other patrons while I was there. I still had two waitresses helping me and keeping my drink filled. They have free WiFi and let me set up and work for a few hours, which was an added bonus. Great to tell the boss you are working from the bar for the afternoon. Very cozy atmosphere, divey but quaint. I sat at a high top today, but they have cool booths«inside» a prop boat. This place is out of the way, with a huge parking lot. I’ve never been there after 5 pm, so I can’t say what it’s like during«bar» hours.

Love the food and ombiance… but wait staff is horrrrrrible. Never in my life have i dealt with such rude waitresses. If we are your only table in here could you keep my drink filled considering im ordering a soda and alcoholic beverage? I felt like i was a bother. Deep fried pickles are so good along with the burgers. This is a fun place to be with friends, but do yourself a favor and order at the bar or you’ll never get a drink.

Waitress was annoying, not knowledgeable and our food cold. Considering it only took 3 – 5 minutes to cook I am going to assume it was just sitting there. Beer selection sucks too. But if you’re coming to just get wasted, probably your best bet.

Great place with a lot of potential. Would attract more of the boater crowd if they played some Jimmy Buffett once in a while instead of Limp Bizkit and Disturbed. Last time I checked 15 year old kids who sit at home all day pissed off at there parents don’t go to the bar all that much.

Definitely not for me. I have heard it described as a dive, which I find to be errant. It’s more like a redneck dance club. Most nights of the week you will be subjected to shitty club music played way too loud while pregnant girls you went to high school with grind their asses into one another. Nooooooo thanks.

This is the type of bar where each time you’re in you will see the same regulars sitting at the same spot at the bar drinking the same thing. It’s very laid back with a good mix of young, middle-aged, and retirees. They have a boat built into one wall where they have some booths with small televisions. I personally enjoyed the little«Pranks» throughout the building. The Bathroom doors say push when you should pull and vice versa. As well as when you’re inside the ladies room there is a sign that say Mens and the opposite in the Men’s room. My boyfriend still gets freaked out a little bit every time he uses the bathroom. They have a DJ a few nights a week and even beer pong on Thursdays. The servers are pleasant but I get the impression they have a high turn over rate. The food is your average, sometimes slightly above average bar food. If you stop in I really recommend the Munchers. They are these wonderful deep fried potato, cheese, and jalapeño bites that when dipped in Ranch taste like a slightly spicy piece of heaven. I really wouldn’t go out of my way to come to Prank’s but if you’re in the area and you want a tall beer and some slightly above average greasy bar food then I’d definitely stop in.

Oh wow ! Where am I? I am in an area that I have never been. Where is my Hall Rd with all my choices?!? I found myself in the area and was feeling shots and drinks and maybe some more shots. I love going into any kind of place to see what it is like, so we stopped at Pranks on the Marsh! Not nearly as a dive as I thought it would be from the outside. The place is pretty nice and clean, a few pool tables, clean bathrooms, well stocked bar, and a few tables set in a cabin with TVs at the table as the other reviews spoke of. We had a great time, service was friendly for sure and he loved the pitcher they use there. They have a special core that helps keep the beer nice and cold, very nice for him! I looked at the menu and it seemed to have lots of choices, pretty much everyone was eating but I was feeling the liquid diet of Tequila and Vodka. Great time there, good vibes.

Ship ahoy matey! Hello you land lubbers! This bar is located on West Jefferson and I have had lunch here a few times. The bar is decorated in boats and ships and water sports. They have a row of booths were an old boat was restructered around them. There are small televisions at those booths(nice place for a date). They have lunch specails, and the menu has quite a few choices. One regular choice is a burger, either ¼ pund or ½ pound, same price! They also have mini burgers called Dingy’s…Ok.here’s what I had… Burger — ½ pound– It was prepared as I requested. Good taste, not great, not bad. Half order of fries and onion rings — average to good– 3 Stars Service — One of the reasons I don’t go here very often is the slow service. I don’t really know why. They know we are there for lunch and have to get back to work. It takes too long to get the check, then longer to come and take the money(waiting for change). 2 Stars I have yet to stop by this bar after work. I would like to check it out to see if any different.
