Having recently stopped at both the Southbound and the Northbound venues for this Rest-stop(s) I can say that both offer clean and well maintained restrooms and vending areas, as well as the very popular pet walking areas for folk’s companion animals. There is room enough for the kids to get out and stretch their legs too. The parking areas are well lighted and the grass and trees areas are liter free and maintained as are the sidewalks. During both visits, I witnessed caretakers on site cleaning up the property. Which, given the amount of traffic these places draw would be a constant job. As these places do draw a lot of traffic it is good idea to be mindful of those there drivers who may not be as the parking lots and driveways are always hopping.

Rude cleaning staff. Unnecessary to lift and slam down every toilet seat as if you have a vendetta against it. It’s a step up from a gas station dive but not that high of a step. I miss having control of simple things like washing my hands with water I can turn on and off. The sensors take awhile. Onward and upward!

It’s ok, it’s an average rest stop with below average facilities. While not great in any manner, it’s better than nothing.
