Went to Golden Chopsticks last night for dinner. Craving their most delicious wonton soup with thin noodle wontons. As always the soup broth and wontons were excellent. Tried the shrimp in lobster sauce, shrimp were huge and plump and sweet. Cooked perfectly. My husband tried the Happy family, lots of seafood, huge shrimp, scallops, snow peas, broccoli. All was wonderful. This morning my husband realized he left his credit card there. We called an hour before they opened and they said to come on in and they would give him his card. Another reason to give them a try, they remind me of Chinese restaurants of days gone by when I was a child. So worth the trip!

My husband and I ordered take out from this place after having received their coupon in the mail. We tried the egg roll, shrimp toast, vegetable fried rice, and authentic Thai Curry with prawns. The Thai Curry came with white rice as well. It was all pretty good food and the delivery service was friendly and quick. The shrimp toast was a bit too greasy for my liking and I think the price on the Thai Curry with prawns was a bit high for the quality of the seafood. I think for Thai food one is better off getting Lemonleaf in Port Jefferson, but if you are looking for a mix, it’s worth trying this place…

The taste is excellent especially the Thai Curry. The prices are slightly higher than competitors which is not that bad, they just have to increase the portion size a little.

WHATHAPPENEDTOTHISPLACE??? Very sorry to say but it went down hill. My spicy crunchy tuna roll was pretty decent but the steamed chicken and vegetables was awful, I ate half the dish then dumped it. This was my local go to place for years. I thought maybe it was just a bad day the last few times I ordered from here but unfortunately it’s a pattern now. I really hope they read these comments and respond appropriately to them.

Amazing food! Whether it’s takeout or eatin. The prices could be a little cheaper though. My only complaint is to PLEASESTOPADDINGPEANUTBUTTER to your steamed shrimp dumpling sauce. I don’t get why you do that on your own when that’s not the way it’s made to order. Some people don’t like that combination and some people are ALLERGIC. It sucks to get home and find that sauce like that and have it ruin the meal. I would’ve given 5 stars if it wasn’t for that. Their sushi is also amazing and I’m picky with sushi. Totally recommend the place.

I enjoy their food. Mostly sushi and chicken. Always delivery. Nice on the phone and prompt on the delivery. It’s easy. Food is tasty too.

Not the best, not the worst. Never buy the cold sesame noodles, you will just get spaghetti with soy sauce on it. Also, keep ordering vegetable egg rolls, but keep getting shrimp egg rolls.

I order from them for delivery usually once a month and they have nasty attitudes saying they are busy cutting me short and they always leave things out and charging extra when u call them to tell them they say come and pick it up I don’t have time!! really that’s good business!

We have been getting take out and occasionally eating at Golden Chopsticks for years now and I thought it was time to leave a review. I am never disappointed with my meal. I used to always ‘play it safe’ and order the same dish; my favorite which is Rocky Point Fish… but have learned to venture out and Golden Chopsticks never disappoints. Full menu includes Sushi, Tai and Chinese options. Food is always fresh and always delicious. The service is excellent and the staff very attentive checking in regularly. With all the attention you receive, you feel as if you are the only customer dining. Very friendly atmosphere… clean environment. I had a Baby Shower there once; which I was very nervous about because they do not have a private room… All my fears were put to rest as the staff did a wonderful job and the party was a great success. Great local option. Put them on your ‘go to list’.

This place is great for groups, and their sushi is very good. It is worth it to get the lunch specials, and I’ve always enjoyed their entrees.

It’s amazing food some of the best I ever had. Dumplings are great and it’s all fresh. Only problem I ever had was the delivery man. He told me he order was $ 44.60, and I gave him $ 55. Only later to see the receipt to say my food was $ 24.35… He lied to me and took my money and they said he did no such thing.

The service is usually attentive… the amount of food they give you for the price is minimal at best… you know the quantity is right when you have to take some home, and your full…(especially in these times). Going out is different now. Value matters too. I like where there is a difference in the Japanese menu and the Chinese one… Here I see very little difference… they fool no one ! It all tastes the same here… They need to give bigger portions for the Money they charge !!!

The Delivery was fine. Unfortunately, the food was subpar. The chicken was poor quality and perhaps the other reviews that are more positive represent other dishes that I have not tried. I had the chicken kungpo and vegi chow mein. Will likely try a different restaurant next time.

Don’t worth the money I spent. Very salty, I order revolution trio, which is sucks. I really don’t wanna come here one more time. Thay have chinese, japanese and thai food, but all of them are sucks. I am not a mean person, to be honest, waiters are really nice. Only thing I like in there is the service.

I have mixed feelings about this place, yeah;the food is good but I know a few people who been in the back and said the place was dirty back there and the food was left sitting out, some people even got sick from it.

This is my favorite Chinese take-out in the area. That icky, ubiquitous brown sauce that seems to be super popular around here is not used at Golden Chopsticks! The food is always steaming hot, clean tasting, and filling. It is a little pricey however, so it isn’t an every week affair. The staff is always pleasant too.

We go to Golden Chopsticks for three things only, the Revolution Protein Trio, Crispy Beef Szechuan Style, and Shrimp Tempura rolls. With any of these three, you can’t go wrong. However, the only sushi from there I feel safe consuming is sushi that is cooked. My last experience with a Sashimi Deluxe was average. The Octopus was fabulous, but the salmon and tuna was just off. Everything else is on the menu is average at best Chinese food, and extremely over priced for the portion sizes. For Thai, so to Sabai down the road, and for Japanese/sushi go slightly further down the road to Mt. Sinai Sushi. I would give Golden five stars, but considering the prices and facts that the portions are small, and their sushi doesn’t always taste fresh, a two star deduction seems proper.

I have been here a few times and every time it’s a positive experience. The staff is super friendly and you will never wait too long for anything. They pay attention to every single detail, constantly changing your plates, providing you with beverages, and endless chips. The food is so delicious and the presentation is beautiful. You do not feel like you are sitting at a diner type place. Looks are definitely deceiving when it comes to this place. It’s a GEM and I love eating here.

Struggling with only 2 stars, couldn’t allow myself to hit 3. Place is nice, service is great, very attentive. I went there after hearing there were Viet dishes on the menu, but that was an unfounded rumor. Long island has no Vietnamese Restaurants. Ok the review is about my experience, vegetables were so cooked into my choice that they lost all resemblance of their original contributing flavors. There was a total absence of the Asian major players in flavor, Ginger and Scallions. The wonton soup, had a good broth, but the wontons were bland, again missing ginger and scallions. Not a revisit for me, I know it’s unfair to judge on one dish, but I think it’s chef doesn’t know much about why overlooked vegs loose flavor, and why scallions and ginger are important to the meals he prepares. So I don’t think it’s an isolated dish. He needs to Orient himself.
