Neon Beach Tanning

I have been tanning at neon beach for probably 7 years now, and it’s the best tanning salon. The beds are awesome, and they replace the bulbs frequently. They also keep it pretty simple with their packages and levels of tanning beds. I don’t think that you can beat the $ 40 a month deal for unlimited tanning in any level bed while also getting 40% off lotion. The girls are always super nice!

Employees are super friendly, the place is nice and clean! AND the BEDS are great!

I NEVER go tanning, but recently went to get a spray tan here. It was great from beginning to end. The girl who helped me was so friendly and explained a lot since I haven’t gotten a spray tan in literally 10 years. The actual tan looks great! It’s lasted well over the pat few days and it’s not orange, which was my biggest fear. I will be returning ASAP!

I’ve been going to Four Seasons for some time now and they recently just changed over to Neon Beach. My issue– I usually buy an individual tanning session each time I go, but the lady convinced me to buy a week package of unlimited beds, meaning I can try whichever one each time I go in. I bought it on the 8^th, went in on the 13^th and was told my package expired. I tanned only once during my «week» & it was on the day I bought it. The lady argued with me saying no I bought it on the 5^th. When I didn’t and even checked my bank account and showed it to her as I was standing there. They gave me a «free» tan but said that it did indeed expire. Well for one, that’s a really shitty deal if I’m going to pay $ 41 for a week of tanning and not actually get it. Two, if they think a week of tanning means that you have to go tanning consecutively for 7 days, then they’re out of their minds. That’s unhealthy to go 7 days in a row. Three, the lady who convinced me to buy this package said I’d be saving money, cause buying ones individually everytime I come in equals to about $ 15 a session, but in reality I just paid $ 41 for one session. I will not be continuing my business here. I already miss Four Seasons. It’s a shame.

Just went here this evening and signed up for a tanning package, the lady that assisted me was very helpful an sweet. Phenomenal pricing and Not pushy at all. Definitely recommending to friends/​family

I was looking for a decent but not to expensive tanning salon in the area. I wanted to get some color before my up coming wedding. This salon is the best I have ever been to. Always clean, staff is super friendly and courteous. I have purchased both the regular bed tanning package as well as the spray tan package. Super happy with both and have had great results from both. I love that they have late hours during the week as well.

The beds here are the best in the area.
Living near downtown Cleveland I have to drive to get to any tanning salon making me want to find the best high level beds. And they delivered.
Air conditioning, misting, and I can plug in my own tunes?! Sign me up.
The staff has also always been super helpful and honest. I appreciate them also taking my no for an answer!

The spray tan, for being a bed, is pretty impressive. My friend had a $ 45 custom spray done and I got the $ 10 (5 for $ 50 package) booth spray; when standing next to each other you could see a difference but definitely not a $ 35 difference. I’m fairly light and it didn’t come out streaky or orange at all!
Wait times can get pretty lengthy if you go during busy hours, so keep this in mind if you’re looking for the spray tan.

This place is conveniently located on Detroit, with plenty of parking.
The girls that work the counter are typically friendly, and will answer questions about the beds.
The salon is clean clean clean. They have a good selection of bed types/​levels. I have been going here a year, and have had to wait ONE time for a high end bed.
Product prices are typical for a tanning salon. crazy high. However, they offer specials frequently, and I’m sure there is still a profit for the salon.
They also have generous hours. I have not experienced a time where I was disappointed that they were closed.

Very nice clean and help was efficient and pleasant! Stopped in while on vacation before a family wedding and got a spray tan! I think the place is a great business!

While the beds are top notch and the salon is sparkling clean I have a issues with the staff. While I did my time in customer service I always made it a point to make sure that I greeted everyone that walked through the door and I don’t feel like that’s the priority of the staff at the salon.
The prices aren’t awful seeing as how they use high end beds with bulbs that are replaced pretty regularly and the Pura Sunless is amazing. But again, none of that matters if the staff isn’t creating the right atmosphere. I’ve left on several occasions where there is a group of girls at the front talking rather than making sure the beds are clean, guests are checked in and don’t need anything else, etc. Either way, it gets the job done so I’ll go back.

I have been searching for the best tanning salon since I moved to the area and I have finally found it! By far the cleanest place I’ve ever tanned, friendly and courteous employees, virtually no wait time for beds, perfect tanning results EVERY time (it is very hard for my skin to tan), new bulbs frequently, clean towels and eyewear with every session, they have multiple levels of beds for each skin type, everything always works (music, bulbs, sprayers, fans, sound, etc.), AND they have reasonable prices. I pay $ 40/​month for unlimited/​any bed tanning and an automatic discount on lotions! Love love love love this place :)

This place was annoying. Yeah the bed did the trick, but the prices are a rip off for a simple month’s package. Most of the girls barely acknowledge your presence and seem completely miserable. My first time there, they didn’t even show me how the bed worked.

Overall a good atmosphere to tan. My bed is always available and ready when I go tanning and the staff is very friendly most of the time. Natalie (associate) does an excellent job of selling tanning lotions and offering promotions to customers who do packages. The bulbs are always hot and changed relatively often. They do provide discounts on lotions and tanning packages when purchased. Make sure to prepay or get a tanning package if you tan often. It will SAVE YOU A LOT OF MONEY. If you buy lotions you get 30% the lotions and free upgrade in tanning beds. I usually come up 2 – 3 shades darker when I go in. The beds do vary between the Rocky River location and the Avon Lake location so beware when tanning.
